I can't believe I agreed to this.
But I guess I can make it through one night for these guys, especially after what they just did. I mean April let me cry on her and snuggle up to her like a little kid. Clarity bought me all these clothes and shoes. What am I supposed to do? Tell them I can't have a sleepover? Hell no!
"Mom can I stay at Clarity's house tonight?" I ask her when I walk in our front door. The girls decided to drop me off while they got snacks and took Ash home. Which is cool because I need all my over night stuff.
"Yeah sure, darling." she says smiling sweetly at me from her place on our old, dusty couch.
"Cool." I say heading to my room and packing a small duffle bag with my essentials and pj's because all the clothing we bought is in April's car and that is where my outfit for tomorrow will come from.
I hear tiny feet run down the hall to my door. Then there is nothing but silence until I hear a small giggle emit from around the corner. I smile and creep over to my door as quietly as I can.
"I've got you." I say snatching up Rose before she can react.
Rose lets out a high pitch scream and laughs hysterically. A small chuckle escapes my mouth at my sisters antics. The little gremlin always cheers me up.
Rose's hazel eyes seem to scan my room before her they stop on my duffle bag. Her face slowly turns into a frown before she looks back at me.
"Where are you going, Kacey?" she asks adorably while pouting slightly.
"I'm just going to go stay with April, Clarity, and Kate for the night. Mom will drop you off at school in the morning and I'll be back in the afternoon." I explain to her.
At the mention of the girls she seems to perk up. She's met Kate and Clarity before but not April. Although both are dying to meet each other, there has never really been a chance since everyone is always busy. That and April won't just show up at my house like the others.
"That's awesome! Tell them I said hi. But when can I meet April?" Rose says excitedly as I sit her back on the floor since I can't hold her for too long.
"I'll tell them and soon, I promise." I say ruffling her hair.
"Yay!" she shouts and takes off down the hall to the living room with mom.
My sister is such a happy child it's insane. How can anyone be that positive, even as a kid. She's always smiling and cheering other people up. I really wish I was like her, but it seems she got all the good genes.

Just as I think the girls forgot about me, I hear a car horn blow from my front yard. I grab my bag and practically fly out the door as I call a goodbye to my mom and sister.
The headlights from April's car shine in my eyes when I open the door, blinding me slightly. I use my hand to shield my a eyes while I walk closer to the van. As I approach I see the drivers window roll down and April sticks her head out.
"You have shot gun, Kacey. The other two decided they wanted to sit in the back and text people while I sat up here alone." she informs me.
So I round the car and pull open the passenger door. I just put my bag in the floorboard as I climb in the van and sit down. I give April a tiny smile and turn to see that Clarity and Kate are in fact texting on their phones. I shake my head and turn back to the front.
"Oh Rosella says hi." I tell them all.
"That's so cute! I really need to meet her." April squeals with a big smile on her face.
