I can't believe that Kacey did that for me. She pied herself in the face instead of me. She won the race fair and square so she had every right to hit me but she didn't. What is even crazier though is that she didn't realize her own strength and she hit herself in the face way too hard. She ended up causing herself to get a really bad nose bleed.

As repayment I carried her into the house and washed her face for her. Her beautiful face was covered in whip cream and blood. I took my time and got all of the gunk off but she had to take a shower because of all the whip cream in her hair.

I hear the shower turn off and then some rummaging around. Around this time she will realize that she forgot to get clean clothes.

"Oh fuck." I hear Kacey murmur and I giggle quietly.

Now when she begins to walk this way she will find the stack of clothes outside the bathroom door.

I hear the door open for a second and close again. Then there is more fumbling. After a minute or so the door opens again and I hear her walk my way.

"Thank you for putting some clothes out for me." Kacey says, her voice shaky. Instantly I turn to her.

She stands beside her bed shaking slightly. She looks scared and I see that her eyes are a bright cloudy green.

Oh shit something's wrong. What has got her acting like this? I watch as she grabs a pair of sneakers and puts them on with shaky hands.

"Kacey what are you doing?" I ask her as I stand up from my bed.

"I'm just going to go for a quick walk." Kacey says as she ties her shoes.

"What's wrong Kacey? You're not acting right." I question the small brunette.

"It's nothing." she says trying to shrug me off.

"Kacey don't play that with me. We both know that it's not nothing. I just want to help you." I say placing a hand on her shoulder. As I had been talking I had also been walking up to her. But she jumps away from my touch and turns to look at me, a wild look in her hazel eyes.

"I don't need your help! Have you ever thought that maybe I didn't need you to always watch over me? I'm not that fucking pathetic April. I don't need you!" Kacey shouts at me and storms out the door.

I let her go for a minute as I process her words. Hearing that she doesn't need me hurts like hell and I honestly feel like crying but I know that she was shaken up and not in her right mind. I snap out of it and take off down the stairs and out the door. I can't let her go off on her own, not in this state of mind. There is no telling what she could do right now.

As I step into the cool night air however, I know I have a big problem. It's pitch black outside except for the soft glow of the moon and the stars in the sky. With so little light and a big head start it will be nearly impossible to find Kacey. Now I really start to panic. It could be hours before I find her, hours that she will be left with just her wild thoughts, and hours that she has to harm herself in some way if she can't control herself.

I have to find her, I have to go now. But if I tell the others they could help me and that means we could find her faster. I take off into the house and run up to Kate and Clarity's room.

As soon as I'm standing in front of the wooden door I slam my fists against it in a panic. We have no time to waste for politeness at the moment.

"Good lord chill." Clarity says as she slings the door open, an annoyed look on her face but when she takes in my appearance her brow instantly furrows with concern. "Oh shit. What's wrong?"
