I wake feeling very warm and confined, but not in a bad way. I actually feel kind of safe.

At first I'm confused as to why I feel warmer then normal but when I feel the rise and fall of someone else's breathing, I remember.

I look down and smile at what I see. Kacey is sleeping peacefully with a look of contentment, a look that you never really see on her. The tiny brunette changed positions in her sleep so that she has her arms wrapped around me and her head is resting on my chest.

She is such a cuddler when she's sleeping.

I know when she wakes up she'll jump away. Close contact with just about anyone scares her or spikes her anxiety. I'm lucky she let me cling to her yesterday. She dosent realize that now that I know she'll let me, I'll be attached to her hip.

I continue to lay there not wanting to move but soon I feel Kacey moving around. Just as I suspected, she untangles herself from me and gets out the sleeping bag. I then hear several plastic bags crinkling and I'm only guessing she's looking for clothes.

When I hear her footsteps move into the hall and the bathroom door slam closed, I know she found something she wanted.

Because of the force she used closing the door Clarity groans and yawns, finally waking up.

"Are you awake, April?" she croaks tiredly.

"Yes." is my simple reply.

Clarity then gets up and moves off to her room to get dressed, but not before shaking Kate awake.

I decide to get up and stretch. Several of my bones pop as always making Kate look at me.

"It's just so unnatural that your bones pop that much." Kate says shaking her head at me.

I laugh and head to a guest bedroom to change into a more appropriate attire for school. I dig through my bag before finally deciding on a pair of faded skinny jeans and a yellow flowy top, pairing it with some simple brown riding boots.

Just as I start to apply my make up a voice echoes from down the hall.

"Open up tiny fighter! I know you can't use makeup properly so I'll do it for today."

Of course it would be Clarity to push Kacey fully into this new look.

I hear the bathroom door open and then a gasp comes from Clarity. At first I'm not sure if it's a good thing or a bad thing so I freeze to make sure everything's alright.

"Dang girl. You look hot." Clarity compliments.

I sigh and go back to the task at hand. Finishing off my winged eyeliner and nude pink lips. I then decide to wear a few bangle bracelets to complete the look.

Smiling at my reflection I head out of the bedroom to check on the others. But as I walk by the bathroom, the door is closed and I laugh at Kacey's whining from the other side of the door. Apparently someone is very unhappy with Clarity.

"Clarity don't torture the poor girl." I call to her and get a laugh in return.

"No promises."

Still laughing lightly at my friends I grab my phone off the couch and check my messages. The first thing I notice is a text from my mom.

Mommy❤️: The office called last night. They said they would like to talk to you before class today. Something about Kacey. I'm not sure what exactly about, but be sure to go up there. Have a good day. I love you.
