•April•I hug Clarity goodbye as we stand in the parkinglot of Beat's. It's about eleven o'clock and everyone is heading their separate ways. I've already said my goodbyes to Kate and Ash.
"That tiny fighter really can sing." Clarity states as she smiles fondly.
I just nod. My tiny fighter is the bomb diggity. Tonight she looked so fucking hot. Her look showed just how fierce she is and I know it brought a lot to her performance tonight. She really had the audience going crazy.
We had so many people come up to us and ask to speak with Kacey. I'm not even going to lie I was slightly annoyed.
"April! Earth to April!" Clarity says snapping her fingers in front of my face.
Damn it I spaced out again.
"Thinking about Kacey again?" She asks with a raised eyebrow and a blush instantly rises to my face.
"Girl you really have it bad. I honestly don't think it's healthy." Clarity says. "I hope you know you're gonna have to tell her."
"I don't think that I'm going to tell her. I'm the only one that she has almost completely opened up to and our friendship is amazing. If I mess this up I don't know where I'd be. Having Kacey as a friend is better then not having her around at all." I say with a sigh. I really wish that we could be more then best friends but I don't believe it will be possible.
"Whatever you say sweetheart. But I think that girl likes you back." Clarity says before getting in her car with a wave before taking off.
Damn Clarity. Why must she do this to me all the time.
Just as I'm fixing to turn around a small form crashes into me from behind. I almost fall on my face but the person catches me before letting go and standing in front of me.
Kacey stands there with a big grin plastered on her face. What in the world?
"Kacey what is up with you?"
"I'm just really hyper it's no problem. Ooo, unless you meant as in what mental illness I have. In answer to that one I don't have one but I could have my very own that's called badass disease. Not many peo-." I cut off her rambling by putting a hand over her mouth. I just remembered something.
"Kacey how many sodas and energy drinks have you had tonight?"
Over the span of the four hours we have been here random people who liked Kacey's performance have given her glasses of soda and energy drinks.
"Ughhhhh. I've had five energy drinks and seven sodas." she says. Dear lord. No wonder she's freaking bouncing off the walls.
She's had enough sugar for ten people. I'm surprised her heart hasn't freaking exploded. I know that this craziness is just a sugar high but I have a feeling she's gonna have to run it off.
"Come on let's get to my car." I say beginning to walk across the parkinglot but Kacey grabs my arm.
"Do you want a piggyback ride? I've give Rose piggybacks and I love them, so do you what me to give you one?" Kacey asks and I can't help but laugh at her childish behavior.
"Sure. A piggyback ride sounds fun." I shrug. What harm could it possibly be?
"Okay hop on Red." Kacey says squatting down slightly so that it's easier to get on her back.
I clamber onto Kacey's back, wrapping my arms around her neck as she holds under my thighs so that my legs are wrapped around her waist and I won't fall off her back.
