"Come cuddle." April whines from my bed. She's been here since she dropped me off from school and at this point I'm just going to ask her to stay the night with me. She has refused to leave my side since the bookcase fell on me anyway.

"Why are you being so needy today?" I inquire jokingly.

"Because I have an extremely attractive and caring girlfriend who hasn't been paying me much attention all day." the red head states as her blue eyes pierce into me. I know she's just saying that to make me feel bad in order to get her way. But who am I to deny my girl of some damn cuddles.

"Fine, beautiful. You can have your way at the moment but don't expect it all the time." I say walking over to lay with her.

I pull her to lay on my chest and she giggles as I place soft kisses to the top of her head. I smile down at her adoringly.

I thought that being in a relationship would be hard or stressful but with April everything just seems to come natural. She is easy to talk to and extremely caring. Being friends for a few years before our relationship probably helped out as well.

Just as April's giggles start to die down my phone begins to ring. With a small groan I pull the device from my pocket and answer it without checking the caller ID.

"Hello." I greet in monotone.

"Hello I would like to speak with Miss Kacey Parks." A mans voice says through the phone.

With a raised eyebrow I wrap an arm tightly around April's waist. Who the hell was this man and what did he want.

"This is her." I reply calmly.

"Well that's wonderful. My name is Lucas Wilder. I'm a manger and the owner of Wilder Records in Los Angeles. I have gotten many phone calls from talent scouts in your area who have seen you perform. I understand that you have been going by the stage name of Fighter and you have been really whooing crowds of people." The man says through the line.

This grabs my attention. I have heard of this company and so has many people. The company is known mainly for their newest superstar Roxie James. She has one of the best voices of this century and from what the public knows, a big heart.

"I wouldn't say I was whooing crowds sir. But what is the nature of your call. Surely it wasn't just to tell me that you know of my existence." I prod. I really want to know what this man wants from me.

"Ah a smart one I see. Well I would really like to sign you to my record and also become your manager in this business. Of course I myself need to see you perform before doing so. I will be flying down to see you tomorrow afternoon after your school hours. That is, if you are interested." Lucas says through the phone.

"Of course I'm interested sir. This all came as such a shock but I'm very grateful that you are taking time out of your day to deal with a crazy teen." I say and laugh good heartedly.

"I signed Roxie at about the same age and look at her. She's a good kid and this industry loves her. You'll get to see that for yourself though. I manage her as well so you two will have plenty of time to get to know each other." At his words I mentally freak out. I'm going to get to hang with one of the worlds greatest celebrities. I don't know if I can keep it together much longer.

"That is just amazing. I really thank you for flying out here to give me a chance." I thank him again politely. I really have no idea how to form words properly at the moment.

"It's no problem at all if you're as good as they say I should be thanking you for allowing me to see your talent. Now you start preparing or just chilling before life gets a little harder. I'll see you tomorrow Fighter." with that the line goes dead and I'm just sat laying there in shock.
