It's now just a week before we are leaving to go to the mountains and I couldn't be more excited. I can't believe that Ash would actually pay for all of us to go on vacation and have fun. We won't have to worry about our parents or any annoying people like Jazz. We can all just relax and have a fun week.

Today Ash, Kacey and I will be heading to the mall. Kacey doesn't own a big jacket for the snow and cold that we will face in the mountains so we have to buy her one, which she has protested but I threatened to ignore her all week which she has grown to hate. I went two days last week without talking to her because she was being angry and grumpy one day. It annoyed her so much that she snapped at everyone but was always trying to make it up to me.

I have a surprise for her to lighten her mood. The other day she mentioned something to all of us about needing a band and a couple dancers to help her at work because she can't go anywhere without a band she says. She has really hunkered down with singing here lately. She's been taking extra nights at the restaurant and every night she's drew more and more people in to Beats. Because of this her pay is raised and she makes a good bit of money each night.

Anyways this week I had flyers printed out to put up in the mall. They are flyers letting people know that there is a singer that needs a band and a few dancers.

I've also left my number so that they can call me for more details and to let me know they want to audition.

The audition date is set for the week after our trip. Once Kacey gets in the car I will have Ash hand the box of flyers up to her.

I pull into Kacey's driveway and see that she is waiting on the steps for us to pick her up. She's frowning slightly at the car because she's going to the mall against her will.

Grumpily she stands up and stomps over to the vehicle. I roll down my window and tell her that she gets to ride up front.

"Hey tiny fighter." I greet her happily. But in response she only huffs as she buckles up.

"Come on Kace, lighten up." Ash says but she only rolls her eyes.

"Well I have a surprise for you anyway." I say and Ash hands Kacey the box.

As I glance away from the road to look at Kacey she's staring at me questioningly.

"Open the box." I say.

She carefully removes the lid from the box and when she sees the flyers her face lights up.

"Dude, no way. You made these?" Kacey asks excitedly.

I nod and her smile grows wider. I'm so glad that she likes them.

"Are we putting them up today?" she asks.

"Of course."

"Thank you so much April. I love these."  Kacey says, her bad attitude completely gone.

"I'm glad." I smile. I have successfully got myself off of Kacey's bad side.

"Come on let's go!" I shout and snatch the box of flyers from Kacey as I run to towards the mall.

"Wait up Red!" she shouts and runs after me, leaving Ash to catch up to us later.

"You'll have to catch me!" I shout back at her as we run through the parking lot.

Right before I run across the cross walk to the mall Kacey grabs me around the waste and pulls me to her.

"Gotcha, Sunshine." she says with a small chuckle.
