Together Again

Chapter 2

Jordan's POV

I begin to get ready to walk over to Kat's house, and by "getting ready" I mean putting my clothes and makeup in a bag, because obviously we are going to get ready together, anyway, as I begin to leave the house I hear my mum call my name...

"Jordan, and where might you be going?" She asks me with one hand on her hip, Oh my god whoops with all this stress and excitement with the last weeks of school I completely forgot to tell my mum about the party..

"Oh... I forgot to tell you mum, me and Katherine are going to a party tonight..." I stare at her and see her look at the ground in thought...

"I don't know jo..." She starts but I cut her off

"PLEASE MUM!!! IT'S THE LAST TIME ILL BE WITH MY WHOLE YEAR LEVEL AS A YEAR TEN!! AND KAT WONT GO WITHOUT ME" I say loudly lying a little, she doesn't need to know that it won't be just my school there, I use my begging voice and attempt puppy dog eyes

"Okay fine but don't be home later than midnight okay?" She says as I jump up to her and hug her really tightly

"Of course, thanks heaps mum!!" I say excitedly as I run out of the house and across the road to Kat's house

"Katherine!" I shout as I walk through her front door, which she always leaves unlocked,

"Kat!" I shout again, no response, I know what this means, she's in her room listening to her music through her headphones, yes, I can scare her again, I quietly creep up her stairs and when I get to her door I slowly turn the knob and then I quickly open the door and shout out,

"KA..." She's not in her room, strange...

"AHHH!!!!" I hear someone scream which makes me scream and jump at the same time

Katherine's POV

I was about to put my headphones in when I heard someone open my front door, then I hear my name

"Katherine!" I know it's Jordan, I decide not to reply and hope she will come up stairs looking for me, it's my perfect chance for revenge, whenever she comes over or I go to hers she is always jumping out of places and scaring me, now it's my turn

"Kat!" I hear her call my name again but this time louder, none of my family was home because they went out for dinner, I told them to go without me because I was going to a party, I hear the faint sounds of footsteps getting closer towards me and I realise Jordan is getting closer, and I know she is going to come in here expecting to scare me, she will be in for a shock, I quickly hide behind the door and wait

"KA.." Jordan screams as she comes into my room, I almost let out a laugh at her reaction of not finding me, But I quickly jump out

"AHHH!!!!" I scream making Jordan jump back and scream as well, I immediately start to crack up laughing

"Oh my god Kat that was not funny" she says starting to laugh a little herself now

"But respect to you for scaring me" she says winking and giving me a high five

"So know for the important things, what are you wearing?" She asks me as she walks over toward my cupboard opening it and taking a look inside

"I'm not sure Jords, but I'm really nervous for tonight, I mean, me and Hayes were best friends, what if he doesn't even notice me there or worse, sees me and ignores me, it will kill me and..."

"Whoa Kat calm down, this just means we have to get you looking really nice so he can't miss you"

"But how..."
