Chapter 3

Katherine's POV

Just before Jordan knocks on the door I begin to panic

"Jordan I don't know if I can I mean... I don't know..." I tell her as she frowns at me

"Come on Kat, we are already here, just calm down, I'll stay with you the whole night, you will have nothing to worry about okay?" She says whilst holding my hands

"Okay Jords, but you better not leave me, or this will be the last party I attend with yo.." I begin but Jordan cuts me off

"Of course I won't now come on, am I allowed to knock this time?" She asks me laughing a little bit

"Ha Ha" I say smiling at her

"Hey guys come in" Amanda says as she greets us at the door and opens the door wide enough to slip through, as soon as we get in I immediately become overwhelmed by the amount of people in the small space, I soon get used to it and walk over to an empty section with Jordan as we began to dance. Suddenly I hear a group of voices scream my name.

"OMG KAT IS IT REALLY YOU!!" I turn around to see my three friends from primary school, Tayla, Lexie and Ally

"OMG HI GUYS!" I say as we run towards each other and give each other a massive group hug

"How have you been omg I've missed you so much" Tayla says hugging me again

"Yeah Kat, our school is missing someone like you" Ally adds

"I know but you know that my mum didn't want me to go to your school, anyway, have I introduced you guys to Jordan before?" I ask them walking towards Jordan with them following close behind

"I don't think so" I hear Lexie say from behind me

"Jordan, this is Tayla, Lexie and Ally, my friends from primary school, guys this is Jordan" I say pointing to each one I say their names

"Oh so we are just 'friends' now aye?" Lexie says to me with an eyebrow raised

"Yes, Lex don't you remember her BEST friend was Hayes?" Tayla says to Lexie as I smile

"Yeah I remember you could never separate those two" Ally says nudging me lightly

"It was never like that guys" I say smiling once again

"we were just friends" I add on

"Hey I heard he was here tonight? You going to go look for him Kat?" Ally asks me as I look over to Jordan for help

"No, she promised she wouldn't leave me tonight" Jordan says for me and I smile at her as if to say thank you

"Hey, isn't that him over there, coming through the door now?" Tayla asks as I turn around and begin to tense up, I then see Amanda lean in to kiss him but he rejects her by bringing his hand up towards her face.

"Yeah, that's him, go say hi" Lexie says as I shake my head

"No.. No I'm alright" I say with a slightly shakey voice

"I think I might go and get a drink I'm getting a bit hot" I say and turn to Jordan hoping she will understand that I want her to come with me, she nods her head and we walk towards the kitchen, just as I was about to start talking to Jordan I see her staring behind me and feel a tap on my shoulder, and here someone say

"Hey can you please move over so I can get to the sink..." I turn around and my eyes meet with Hayes'

"K..Kat?" Hayes stutters as I slightly smile

Hayes POV

"Come on bro, we gotta get going to get to the party on time" my mate Brayden says to me hitting me in the back of my couch while I was just sitting down on the couch scrolling through my Facebook, I didn't even want to go to Amanda's party, I was just going for Brayden, I don't really like Amanda, she thinks we are dating, we are definitely not! okay yeah we've hooked up a couple of times here and there but we are not dating!
