Chapter 16

Katherine's POV

I did it, I finally told someone that I actually loved Hayes, other than Hayes himself that is, but I always have and knowing me, probably always will, i'm the type of person that doesn't get over people easily as you can probably tell seeing as I have loved Hayes since we were 12 probably even longer before that, and I probably never realised it, if I ever lost Hayes after I just got him again I will be absolutely crushed

"KAT!" Jordan yells as I shake my head removing me from my thoughts

"Sorry what?" I say and Jordan laughs before she continues

"I said I wonder if the boys will want to go on a double date anytime soon, maybe we could go to the zoo or somewhere cute like that" I smile at her and nod

"Yeah, sounds like a plan" I say just as my phone lights up, I look at it and see it's a text from Hayes

From Hayes 😘: OMG KAT DID JORDAN TELL YOU!!

I laugh at his message, he is worse than a girl

"What's up" Jordan asks me as I look up at her

"I think Brad just told Hayes about you, he is so happy and excited" I say laughing and she joins in before I look back down at my phone to reply to Hayes

To Hayes 😘: Yeah haha she told me as soon as I got here, what do you and brad think about a double date?

From Hayes 😘: YES SOUNDS AWESOME! Where do you guys wanna go?

To Hayes 😘: Don't mind, but Jords wanted to go to the zoo or something similar

From Hayes 😘: Sounds like a plan, Brad and I will figure something out, seya soon gorgeous xx

To Hayes 😘: Bye boo xo

"Guess what Jords? Our double date is on, don't know when but Hayes said him and Brad will figure something out" I say and Jordan squeals piercing my ears

"Any louder?" I say laughing at her as she jumps up and down excited

"But this is so cool, like two best friends are dating another two best friends... did that even make sense?" she asks me tilting her head sightly sideways as I see her mouth move as she repeats it to herself

"Nope, not at all but luckily you are my best friend and I get it" I say laughing at her as I see her give up on trying to figure out a way to put it

"Anyway I should head home, it's getting late" I say to Jordan as I hug her goodbye before leaving her house and walking across the road to mine

"I'm home!" I call out when I walk in the door but surprisingly get no response so I call my brother

- ON THE PHONE -

(J = Jack K= Katherine)

J= Hey Katty what's up?

K= Jack where are you?

J= I'm at the golden gown bar why?

K= Oh okay, do you know where anyone else is?

J= I think they all went to Michael's house, it's his birthday you know?

K= Of course I know that Jack he is my brother too, why didn't they wait for me though?

J= I don't know Kat, try calling mum, I have to go i'm out with Peter, text me when you find out

K= Okay thanks Jack, have fun and say hi to Peter for me

J= He can hear you, he is listening into our convo
