Jordan's POV
I wake up to the sound of Kat's alarm, I roll over to face her before she speaks up
"Good morning Jords"
"Good morning Kat, what time is it?" I ask because my date with Brad is at 12:00
"11 why?" I open my mouth in shock before springing up out of bed and running to my clothes lying on the floor and run to the bathroom to get changed
"Woah, what's the rush?" I hear Kat call out to me from the bathroom door
"MY DATE WITH BRAD IS IN ONE HOUR!" I scream back and hear her gasp
I then hear her run down stairs and run back up in the matter of seconds
"I'm so sorry if I knew I would have set my alarm for earlier" I hear her say in a stressed out way from behind the door and know she is pacing up and down in front of the door
"No, don't stress it, it's my fault, I didn't even tell you" I hear here let out a sigh and continue pacing
Once I walk out of the bathroom Kat hands me a banana before I run into Kat's rom to grab my phone and then continue running towards my house, I don't have to eat a lot for breakfast because I can just stop somewhere on the way to the cinemas and Kat wasn't doing anything so she could eat later, once I reach my house before I knock on my front door I turn around and see Kat standing there which I mustn't have noticed because I was stressing so much
"What are you doing Kat?" I ask her before she replies I knock on the door and my mum lets us in
"Well, you can't honestly think I would let you get ready for your date by yourself after you helped me did you?" She says and I quickly give her a hug before we run up the stairs
"So where is Brad taking you" She asks me while we both search through my closet
"We are going to see a horror movie, you know the new one that just come out, The Visit I think it's called" I say and she smiles, she is obsessed with horror movies I swear
"Yeah, that's it, that's cute, got any ideas for what you want to wear?" She asks me and I shake my head, I actually have no clue
"Are you feeling in the mood for jeans?" Kat says before walking over to my cupboard where my jeans are
"At this point i'll settle for anything!" I say panicking as she pulls out my light blue skinny jeans with a plain white singlet and a cargo jacket incase it gets cold in the cinema which it usually does, she also grabs my black vans from my shoe cupboard as I rush to the bathroom to get changed
"Come out so I can fix you up" Kat calls out from behind the door
"Okay, I'm coming" I say before unlocking the door and walking out
"Nice, but I think you should roll up your jeans a bit at the bottom" She says as I nod and do what she says
"Okay it's 11:30, just enough time for hair and makeup, lets get back in the bathroom" Kat says before pushing me into the bathroom and locking the door behind us
Katherine grabs my mascara and eyeliner from the shelf and hands them to me to put on, she then grabs my curler and straightener looking back and forth between both
"Which one?" She asks me as I point to the curler
"Good choice" She says before plugging it in and waiting a while for it to warm up before she begins to curl my hair
"DONE! Success if I say so myself" Kat says smiling proudly at me and as I am about to thank her the door bell rings
"I'll get it!" I call out as I run down the stairs followed closely behind by Kat
