Together Again

Chapter 4

Katherine's POV

"KAT PLEASE TELL ME EVERYTHING RIGHT NOW!" Jordan squeals in excitement as we get into the car

"Wait until we..." I start but Jordan cuts me off

"I didn't see you all night, were you with him all night?" Jordan asks and as I open my mouth to continue my previous sentence she continues

"Did you guys settle your love for each other???" She asks me smirking

"Woah, first of all Jordan, I don't like Hayes like that, and second, wait until we get home, am I sleeping over like usual or..?" I ask, whenever me and Jordan go out, whoever's parents pick us up, is the person who's house we sleep over at

"Yeah, mum? Is that okay?" Jordan asks as her mum nods

"Of course sweetie, just make sure you don't stay up too late okay?" Jordan's mum says as we nod

"You better tell me as soon as we walk into my room then Kat" Jordan says to me as I laugh

"Okay, okay, just relax" I say to her as she starts to laugh a little too now

We then begin to pull up to Jordan's driveway and I couldn't wish anymore that we would be taking a little longer, I know I couldn't expect it because Amanda lives around the corner but I was really regretting telling Jordan about my night, even though nothing happened.

Me and Jordan quietly walk up the stairs into her room being careful not to wake her older sister, Britney. As soon as we walk through the door Jordan pushes me onto the bed and rushes to sit down next to me.

"Okay spill!!" She says staring at me waiting for me to start

"Nothing big happened, we really just talked.. caught up on primary school stuff, discussed love life like we always did in primary school.. Oh and he invited me to his soccer game this weekend" I say and Jordan just stares at me

"What" I say Confused as to why she is staring

"Is that it...." She says confused

"Yes... I told you nothing special was going to happen.." I say but begin to trail off

"So who does he like?" Jordan asks me and I laugh at her curiosity but continue anyway

"He wouldn't tell me, he said he will tell me at his soccer game... Should I go?" I ask, of course I really wanted to go but I wasn't sure if I should

"Of course!! But now for the main question.. Do you like him?" I stare at her not knowing the truth, I mean I think I do but I don't know...

"I think.." I say trailing off at the end

"What do you mean you think, how can you not know?"

"It was just really nice seeing him again, I've missed him heaps..."

"But Kat... Do you like him? You have to know, you can't not know, what if.." She says but I cut her off

"OKAY, OKAY I LIKE HIM!!" I say and immediately regret it, I only just admitted to myself that I liked him let alone someone else..

"Naww Kat, you have to tell him at his game, wait oh... He likes someone..."

"Yeah.." I say and we both frown and begin to think

"Kat... It could be you, you know that right?" I begin to laugh

"Me! Why would he like me?!" I say laughing more even though it hurt to know the person I like, liked someone else...

"You never know Kat, just see what he has to say first okay?" She tells me and I nod my head

"Will you come with me to the game?"
