Katherine's POV
"Kat" Hayes whispers in my ear while everyone continues in their conversations, I look down at Hayes plate and see, like me, he has also finished his food
"Yeah" I say looking back up at his face
"Want to go upstairs?" He says and I smile
"Sure, lets go" I say and begin to stand up along with Hayes doing the same
"Mum can we be excused?" Hayes says and Elizabeth nods
"Sure" She says as we both turn around and walk towards the stairs
"Kat?" Hayes says to me while we walk up the stairs
"Yeah?" I say looking at him even though he was looking down
"I... I just wanted to umm... tell you how proud I was of you today when you faced your fear of heights, and i'm really sorry for trying to rush you" He says and I smile but don't answer until we reach the door which wasn't that far
"Listen" I say blocking the door and forcing him gently to look up at me
"Hayes, It's cool now, it's just something that happened in the past that we can just forgot and don't even have to remember that it ever happened, like us splitting, we can just forgot about that, both events were both of ur faults and there is nothing we can do now" I continue turning around and walking through Hayes' bedroom door him following closely behind
"Today wasn't at all your fault, nothing from today was your fault" He says and I smile
"Well Hayes, I pushed you into telling me something you didn't want to tell me" I say and Hayes thinks for a minute
"But fair enough I guess, I really should be telling you and I wish I could, but you already know, we have already been through this blah blah blah" Hayes says and I laugh a little
"I know, I feel" I literally do but he doesn't need to know that
"I know you will tell me someday" I continue and he smiles
"Obviously, I don't think there is anything about me that you don't know apart from this but other than that, you know everything, and it wont be long until I tell you" He says and now I'm smiling
"I know Hayes, same goes for you" I say and just as I finish my phone goes off, I pull it out of my pocket and check the message and almost faint
From Unknown: Hey Katherine, I can see you're having fun at Hayes' which isn't good, don't get too comfortable with him while I'm watching
As I continued reading the message it made me less and less worried, yeah whoever this person is, was watching us right now, but thats perfect, because they are probably some jealous chick that doesn't want me with Hayes, without explanation I lean in and Kiss Hayes on the lips which turned into a make-out session, after a while I pulled away to a confused Hayes
"Now don't get me wrong, I'm not saying I didn't enjoy that, but it just came out of no where, why?" He says and I smile
"Does a girlfriend need to have a reason to kiss her amazing boyfriend?" I say and he laughs
"So cheesy but I guess you're right" He says and I laugh
"I know I am, of course I am" I say smiling proudly at myself
"Okay, whatever helps you sleep at night" He says and I playfully hit him before my phone goes off again
