Chapter 28

Katherine's POV

"Sooo" Hayes says to me carrying out the 'o'

"Yes?" I say back laughing as we continue walking back home

"Have you heard from Brad or Jordan recently?" He asks and I begin to think, I only just realised, I haven't really heard from either since the party last night which was weird cause Jordan would message me all the time, especially after parties, and even more after we pulled the stunt we did

"I haven't heard much from them either" Hayes says breaking me from my thoughts

"We'll check up on them before we go to our houses seeing as we all live really close" I say and Hayes nods in agreement

We continued walking with very few words said between us as I knew I was starting to become worried about the two and I think Hayes was too

"Brads house is just here, lets go see if they are here, if not we will try Jordans" Hayes says and I nod my head in agreement

We walk into Brads front yard and then towards the gate before knocking on the door

no answer

"Brad?!" Hayes shouts before knocking again

Just as Hayes is about to knock for a third time the door flies open and a very tired looking Mrs Hamshaw is standing in the door why

"Oh Hayes, nice to see you, and this must be Kat, what are you guys doing here?" She says before Hayes replies

"Hello Mrs Hamshaw, yes this is Kat, I was just wondering if you could let us know where either Brad or Jordan are because neither of us have heard from them since last night which is really strange"

"Brad told me this morning he was going to Jordans but I haven't seen him since then" She says worried

"It's okay, I'm sure thats where he is, don't worry Mrs Hamshaw, we will go check now for you" I say in attempts to calm her down

"Thank you dears, and let me know if he is there, also tell him to come home cause I haven't seen him all day" She says and I smile

"Of course" Hayes says before I could and with that we were on our way to Jordans house

Once we arrive at Jordans house I only have to knock once as the force of my knock opens the door

Hayes and I stare in the doorway before I speak up

"Hello? Jords are you there?" I call out but no response

"Brad?" Hayes calls as we decide to step inside but still nothing

"I swear Jordan if this is one of your little jokes I am going to ki.." I stat but am cut off by Hayes' hand covering my mouth as he bring his index finger to his lips

"Shh, listen" He says as he walks closer to the stairs and we both listen

"Is that.." Hayes starts but trails off as we both silently laugh in hopes they don't hear us

"Lets go find out" I say quietly walking up the stairs, Hayes following closely behind

Soon enough we are at Jordans bedroom door and it has been left slightly open, Hayes and I both take a peak inside and sure enough they are both under the covers of Jordans bed

"Lets go" I say to Hayes as quiet as possible trying to contain my laughter

We both walk back down the stairs and wait in the lounge while we wait for them to finish their business

"oh my god, I cant believe I just witnessed that" I said to Hayes and he laughs

"I know, as if they left the front door unlocked oh my god" He says and I nod
