Katherine's POV
"Here you go guys, good luck and don't cause any trouble please" Nash says and Hayes rolls his eyes
"Whatever Nash" He says before laughing and getting out of the car
"Bye Nashty and thanks" I say hugging him awkwardly over the seat
"Any day, just have fun" He says and I smile
"We will" I say before he drives off
"Ready?" Hayes asks me and I nod taking his hand in mine whilst we walk to the doorstep
"Do we knock?" I ask and Hayes shakes his head
"It will be open" He says turning the door knob, and just as he predicted, the door swings wide open revealing a very large amount of people, in fact Hope's house was filled, and her house is massive
"So much for a gathering" I say looking at Hayes and he just shrugs
"In fact Hayes, this is almost my whole year level at school plus others I don't know" I say and my shoulders drop
"Hey, don't worry" Hayes says trying to reassure me, but then I see her, I see Hope
"Hey guys" Hope says walking towards us in an awkward tone
"Hello" I say bluntly
"Listen, I was going to invite you two but Jordan said..." She says as Jordan and Brad walk up to us stopping her sentence
"What did I say?" Jordan says raising an eyebrow
"Umm..." She says at loss for words
"Thought so" Jordan says before we all stare at Hope waiting for her answer
"Well, I just thought maybe..." She starts but I cut her off
"It's okay, you don't have to explain yourself, just know that our friendship no longer exist but for now, Hayes and I are just going to mingle right in" I say which made me feel so savage
"Kat wait" Hope says as the four of us walk away
"Let her go, I'm pretty sure she was clear enough with what she said" Hayes turns around and says to Hope before turning back around and giving me a kiss on the cheek
"It's not actually that great you know guys" Brad says laughing and we all join
"Oh well, lets try and take the camera off the photographer and just spam it with photos of us" Hayes says and we all burst out laughing again
"Can we actually ask?" I say and everyone nods
"This is going to be funny, this wont even work" Jordan says causing me to stop in my tracks and put my hand out in front of her chest
"Watch, you guys stay right here, Hayes and I will get it" I say and Jordan and Brad laugh
"Okay, i'd like to see that" Brad says as they continue laughing
"Watch" Hayes says as me and him continue to walk and approach the photographer
"Hey, can you do us a favour?" I ask and he nods
"Do you want a photo?" He says and we nod, best to ease into it
"Thanks" Hayes says after our photo is taken
"But we have a question" Hayes continues and the photographer nods
"Now I know this sounds ridiculous but can we please borrow your camera?" I say and the photographer looks at us to go on
