Together Again

Chapter 20

Katherine's POV

"Jack what are we going to do?" I ask Jack worriedly and he just responds with a shrug continuing to stare ahead

"A shrug isn't going to do it for me Jack" I say angrily slamming my hands down on the table slightly

"Look Katherine I'm thinking, we need to tell the others so they can help" He says as I flinch at Jacks use of my full name seeing as he only uses it when he's angry or joking around, and right now I don't think it's the second option

"NO! We cant Jack, they will get hurt" I say as Jack frowns

"Well what other options do we have?" Jack says and I don't reply, I know he is right but I'm right too, people are going to get hurt

"Here you go guys" I here someone say and look up, it was Shawn with our meals

"Thanks" Me and Jack both say as Shawn places our meals in front of us and walks away

"Let's just enjoy our lunch and discuss all of this when we get home" Jack says and I nod

"Hey, Kat, don't worry, everything's gonna be alright" Jack says patting my shoulder before digging into his meal

"I hope so" I respond before doing the same

"HEY GUYS" I hear Nash yell as I see the three boys walking towards us they then sit down with Hayes next to me, Peter at the head of the table and Nash next to Jack

"Hey" I say smiling at them and leaning over to give Hayes a small kiss on the cheek

"What did you order?" He ask me as I take a bite into one of my chips

"A classic wrap in the meal without lettuce or mayo" I say smiling taking a bite of another chip as Hayes takes one too

"You don't like lettuce and mayo!?" Hayes says staring at me with wide eyes as I sit there in shock remember the text, I look over to Jack as he gives me a reassuring look

"Umm... No... not really" I say as Hayes frowns

"But they taste so good" He says and I give him a half smile

"I don't know I guess they just aren't for me" I say as he nods taking another chip

"Anyway what did everyone else get" I here Jack say trying to take the focus off of me, mental note to thank him later

"Chicken nuggets and chips" Peter and Hayes said at the same time

"Nice, what about you Nash?" Jack says looking at Nash as the rest of us do the same

"Cheese burger and chips with a frozen coke" He says smiling clearly pleased at his order

While eating lunch we all just made random small talk until we had finished, and once we had finished we all got up, threw away any left overs and continues to walk around at the shops

"So where to next?" I ask looking around at everyone

"Lets go to H&M then" I say after getting no responses

"Okay, lets go" Jack says as we all begin to walk towards where we needed to go

"Argh can we please catch the tram?" I say after we had been walking for a while to get to H&M

"WE'RE HERE!" I hear Jack scream as I look up and see the massive red H&M sign

"Finally" I say letting out a massive breathe

"Okay, lets get in there" I say running in ahead of the boys
