Chapter 7

Hayes's POV

"So Brad, gonna inform me on what happened between you and Jordan?" I ask Brad smirking and he looks away from me, I knew he was blushing, it's a rare sight to see Brad blushing hence why he turned away but I know him too well, Brad is the type that seems 'tough' but he's really not that tough

"Is BRAD blushing? I thought I would never see this!" I say and begin to laugh

"I WASN'T!" Brad says yelling really loud, I'm not sure if he was meant to say it that loud but oh well

"Woah chillax bro" I say raising my hands, it goes silent and I decide to break the silence

"You like her that much huh?" I say to him and he smiles

"Yeah.." he says looking down

"Naw, did you get her number?"

"Yeah i'm gonna ask her on a date, where should I take her?"

"Is the famous lady's man Brad asking ME for advice?" I say laughing at Brad as he pushes me and I almost fall over, he then starts to join in with me now laughing too

"I don't know though man, I have to take Kat somewhere too.. HEY HOW ABOUT WE GO ON A DOUBLE DATE!" I scream a little too loud getting excited

"Woah, I almost forgot, what happened with you and Kat?" He says to me pushing me lightly trying to get my answer out

"Well I told her I liked her, and she told me that she liked me, we kissed, fell over and that was that" Of course it meant more to me then how I just described it to Brad but he isn't really the sort to care about other peoples feelings unless they're his own, or at this moment in time, Jordan's.

"OOOOOH GET EM' HAYES" Brad yells I then realise we are out the front of my house when I hear someone walk out the front door

"Who are you getting Hayes?" Nash says as he walks closer to us

"Kat..." I say mumbling my words

"KAT! KAT MAKRIS YOUR BEST FRIEND FROM PRIMARY SCHOOL!" Nash screams in excitement, man what's with all this screaming, well, I guess there is a lot of exciting things happening today

"Yeah.." I say mumbling once again, I know Nash he will embarrass me somehow

"So you finally told her? After four years?" there it is...

"Four years?! And you didn't even tell me until now?! After all that time?" Brad says to me and I shrug

"Yeah, sorry.." I say half smiling but then he starts to laugh

"Bro four years? You are so whipped!" He says laughing even more and I push him lightly laughing along with him

"Well i'm going to go now, better get home and eat, I'm starving!" Brad says patting his tummy, we do a quick handshake and he walks off across the road to walk towards his house

Brad lives on the opposite side of my street but two houses down, I thought I would call Kat since she hasn't texted me yet and I'm bored and want to talk to someone, I walk up to my room and before I call I hear music playing loudly from a couple of houses down, they ALWAYS have music playing really loudly from their house, when i'm trying to do homework it really annoys me but any other time it's okay.
