Chapter 31

Jack's POV

"Soo, care to explain what happened with my little sister back in there?" I ask Peter as we walk towards my car and raising an eyebrow and slightly smirking

The way Peter acts, I have a feeling he has feelings for my little Kat, but I'm not going to assume anything

"N..nothing" Peter says to me stuttering slightly

"She isn't around out here, no need to be nervous" I say as I open the drivers side of the car door and get in as Peter does the same on the passengers side

"I'm not nervous around either of you" He says and I roll my eyes and begin to start the car

"How long have I known you Peter?" I ask him and he sighs

"7 years" He says and I nod

"So I know when you are lying, you can tell me things you know?" I say and he nods as I begin to drive off

"Just say it" I say and he looks at me confused

"Say what?" He asks and I roll my eyes again

"Okay Peter, when you're ready" I say as the car falls silent, but not for long

"FINE! I may like Kat" He says the second part so quietly I barely hear him

"What was that?" I say pushing his buttons as he sighs at me

"You heard me Jack, I don't want to make anything awkward though, because she's your sister and she likes Hayes anyway, so DO NOT tell her" Jack says and I shrug

"Don't worry bro, I don't mind, I know you're a good guy and out of all my friends I'm glad it's you, plus Peter don't doubt yourself, I know SOMETHING has happened with Hayes, so you never know buddy, just make sure you treat her right" I say as his eyes light up slightly

"Really?" He says and I nod

"Don't make me regret it" I say to Peter as he shakes his head

"Bro, nothing will happen, but I'm glad I have your approval incase something happens in the future" Peter says and I smile

"No worries Peter" I say and he smiles too

We continue driving making small talk the whole ride, moments later we arrive at a bar, we don't plan on drinking because one of us have to drive home and we both agreed that if one can't drink, the other shouldn't be able to either

"We are hereee" I say as I park my car and jump out at the same time as Peter

"Do you just want to play pool?" Peter asks and I nod

"Yeah sure, why not?" I say as we walk inside

We pay for a pool table at the counter before walking over to the section where the pool tables are

"Lets make this into a deal yeah?" I say to Peter and he nods in approval

"If you win, I'll go chat up that girl over there" I say pointing to a random girl at the bar, who was actually quiet attractive

I watch as Peters eyes follow my finger and land on the girl

"Woah, okay, and if you win?" Peter asks me and I smirk

"You gotta tell Kat how you feel" I say and his both his eyes and mouth go wide in shock

"O..ok.." He says and I smile

"Shake my hand, to make it official" I say holding out my hand to him as he considers it at first before grabbing my hand and shakes it

This will be fun because both Peter and I are equally as good and when we verse the winner often changes between the two of us
