Chapter 21

Unwanted

Chi's point of View

.................................

'Oh my. She's gone she's realy gone.'

I had watched those green skinned Nixies grabb her and drag her under.

But she had made it.

She made it through the looking glass.

She is alive.

I can truely say she is the one.

What other wolf can go through the looking glass and live.

No. Scratch that no other wolf can go through the looking glass at all.

She is the one I know it. I can feel it.

And I'm slightly jealous.

I wish I could visit the secret world on the other side of that glass.

It wasn't really a glass. It was just called that because it shows you what you truly are inside.

It was the magical barrier between this world and a hidden sanctuary for Daemons pure of blood. And it was designed to keep all mixed blood, malevolent daemons and humans out.

Pure of blood daemons are ones that have no human, or mixed daemon ancestors.

Their blood is pure they were strictly werewolf, with only werewolf ancestors. Or they were Fae with only Nobel Fae ancestors.

It was rare for Fae but impossible for werewolves. Or so I thought.

But she is. She is the destined leader.

She has true blood.

She shows emence bravery.

She is loyal to her friends.

She's unpredictable I can say that much.

And I have never seen a wolf like her before.

I mean I only saw a glimpse of her through the reflection of the looking glass.

Pure red fun. Unlike my own orange.

With a black stripe of red fur down her neck and her upper back. She was tall. Extremely tall, but thin, with long skinny black legs and paws. Her white ears were HUGE and slightly rounded. And her muzzle was black.

It was unnerving to see a wolf I couldn't put a name to.

To me she looked like a fox on stilts.

And she was beautiful. I just hoped she could see it herself. I paced in circles at the top of the rock, before tiring myself out.

I lay down on the rock. But I didn't wanna leave till she made it back so I waited for her. I rested my head over the side of the rock watching the stars reflecting on the water.

Somewhere I guess between watching the stars and thinking about my new charge. I fell asleep.

I didn't realize I had gone to sleep until I felt something hit against my shoulder hard and the feeling of flying.

I opened my eyes just as I saw the ground coming into contact with my shoulder.

I hit the hard rocky ground with a thud.

'Darn that Aria' I growled pulling myself up to my feet to meet her eyes, she used a special shampoo and body wash to mask her scent.

I growled a warning to her. I couldn't run off and leave like I always do. Kiri would be waiting for me.
