Premonition

Kiri's point of View

Deep brown eyes swirling in a sky of black looked down on me.

"-Don't, don't go. Don't leave me."

A familiar voice cried.

I turned around seeing the darkness fade away.

A small red haired girl cried on the bedroom floor. I recognized it as myself.

I was floating in the sky looking down on myself crying on my bedroom floor, screaming into a phone.

"I can't Kiri. I never loved you. You were just another conquest. Another notch on my bed post." The voice echoed out of the phone.

I sceamed "You can't be serious. I'm your mate. I love you. You promised after everything. You promised you would be with me forever!"

"I can't. I have to go." The guys voice on the other end of the phone line growled slamming the phone down with a crash.

The blackness swirled and covered the scene only to be replaced with an evil pair of glowing red eyes.

"I will be back." Luca's voice echoed sending me chills.

The eyes vanished.

A car horn honked only to be followed by the screaching of tires and a loud crash. A green car swirved off the road, rolled three times before crashing upside down into a bunch of trees and bursting into flames the black smoke covering the wreck sending everything back into darkness, but not stopping the sound of the flames, and someone's shrill screams that quickly turned into a baby crying frantically followed by a small child's voice.

"Mommy, Help me!" A small girl ran through the dark from something.

She was about three or four with long strawberry blonde hair and tears streaming down her face.

Trees appeared through the darkness and the girl's white dress caught on the briars as she fell to the ground screaming in fear.

"Mommy!"

"Kiri!" A voice shouted in my ear.

"Kiri"

I jumped up, sending the small body that had been sitting over me flying to the floor.

"Chi?" I asked looking at the little girl who was grunting pulling herself to her feet.

"You were screaming." She grunted, glaring as she stood up and sat on the end of my bed.

"Must have been a nightmare." I shrugged.

'A really weird nightmare.' I thought to myself.

"I don't think so." Chi whispered "I think you had a premonition."

"A what?" I stared at her. 'She's crazy.'

"A premonition, vision of the future." She said in a 'you should have known that' kinda of tone.

"It was just a dream." I assured her stretching out across my bed and laying my head on my pillow.

She sighed "Ever heard of REM sleep?" She asked me pushing my feet away as I kicked her.

"Nope don't believe I have." I grumbled dismissively.

"It means Rapid Eye Movement. It is the time when a person is in the deepest form of sleep, also when a Person dreams." She slapped me making me sit up and listen to her.
