Beginning or The End?

I released my long red hair from the tight grip of my hair thing and it fell is curls down my back as I swayed my hips to the soft rock music.
I laughed as Brian stood stiff and seemingly out of place.
"Come on." I chuckled "loosen up, live a little."
He ran a hand through his curly black hair and shrugged unsure of himself.
The entire plaza parkinglot was now crowded with people dancing and laughing. A large makeshift stage stood at the center of the carless parkinglot while a band played and a spunky brunette sung with passion.
I reached for Brian's arm and pulled him closer, as a shock of electricity ran up my arm.
"You gotta move a little." I shouted over the music. And I moved my hands to his hips trying to encourage him to have a little fun.
He reluctantly began to dance slowly.
I smiled but he was still so stiff like it almost embarrassed him to the point of pain for him to have fun and let his gard down.
I pulled him deeper into the mass of people and did a little spin on my heels turning to face him when the band began to play a slow song.
The slight smile turned into a shy frown.
"Dance with me?" I asked boldly
"Sure." He smiled brightly
I guess he thought I wouldn't want to dance with him. He was so cute when he blushes like right now.
I wrapped my arms around his neck and he let his hands drift to my waist. He leaned in towards my ear and whispered "just warning you," he chuckled shyly "I'm not so good at dancing."
"Don't worry, neither am I" I laughed at his modesty.
Over the music and people talking I heard Chloe's distinct growl and looked up. She was across the parking lot arguing with a very upset Raen.
I laughed silently. Those two just can't learn to get along.
Suddenly something caught my eye as I looked over Brian's shoulder. A tall, lithe girl with long waist length black hair slipping gracefully and unnoticed through the crowds of people. In the light of the street lamps her hair shone as though it wasn't entirely black but with streaks of blue, greens, and purple. She appeared as though she was looking for someone and seemed oddly familiar. I watched as she made her way closer to me and I finally recognized her.
Dropping my arms from Brian's neck I jumped back in surprise. "Liteal?" I shouted shocked, surprised to see the little fairy. Her violet wings no longer visible.
"Kiri." She gasped "Thank God I found you." She pulled me into a tight hug. Brian backed away and watched from a distance.
"I need to speak with you. It is most urgent." She spoke again in that strange way that made her sound as if she had been pulled out of a Renaissance novel.
She wrapped her small pale hand around my wrist and pulled me out of the crowd of people towards the secluded edge of the parkinglot. I could feel Brian's curious and confused eyes as he watched us.
"What is it?" I asked trying to calm down an anxious Fairy
She fiddled around with the small silver ring on her finger.
"A pack is coming. A very strong one. The Alpha is Very angry and you are in Danger." She spoke quickly in one breath.
I growled under my breath.
"The counsel fears the safety of the towns people and the lives of all Daemons in this area. This pack is vicious. Not one to be taken lightly and they are not know for showing mercy. The Alpha is a Killer. One of the strongest we have seen in a long time..
His name is-"
"Luca" I growled cutting her off.
"How did you..." she whispered her mouth wide open.
"I know what he wants but he can't have it." I snapped fiercely "he must be stopped."
I could feel my eyes change color as anger and fear flooded through me.
Luca must be extremely powerful if even the Fae Seelie court feared him and couldn't control him.
"But Kiri, it's virtually impossible to stop him.. his pack is huge. There is only one way.... but it's suicide." She sighed tugging at the ends of her hair.
"What is it?" I growled grabbing her shoulders and making her look at me. "Anything, at all. He has to be stopped."
"You would have to fight."
"Fight?" I looked at her in astonishment "Liteal. I don't fight. It's not how I do things."
"It's the only way." Im
"Are you positive?" I whispered, afraid of her answer.
"Yes"
"But how. There's only me, Chloe and Chi." I paced back and fourth fighting a small war inside myself.
I knew what Luca wanted. ME.
He was going to come for an all out war.
Killing any and every Daemon that crosses his path to get what he wants.
If I went with him he might not.. but something in the back of my mind told me that that wasn't the case.
He would take me then kill everyone and use them as an example of what would happen if anyone goes against him.
He was cruel and heartless.
And i couldn't just go with him.
And I wouldn't let my friend become martyrs.
"No you are mistaken, my friend.. there are many. Find them create a pack. Even if you do not get along with them all, explain that their lives are at risk and you will see, they will be willing to help." She turned and gave me a hug before I could say anything else "I must leave you now." And she tured and ran off down the road disappearing into the shadows.
"Wait, Liteal! There are others?" I shouted after her. "How do I find them."
But she was already gone.
