Thunder

Raen's Point Of View

'Wow, it's her again. She hates me' I sighed looked down at her aggressive stance, standing before me ith her sharp teeth bared, growling and snapping.

I don't know whay to do.

She caught me off guard.

How is that possible?

I always keep my guard up.

Oh, but she is so beautiful when she is angry.

All those creases in her forehead, when she scrunches up her face and shows her pure white teeth.

Her small dainty paws pounding the ground with frustration and protectiveness.

Her claws digging into the earth.

She whipped her tail behind her, lashing it back and forth kicking up dust.

And those eyes, her large orange-brown eyes filled with concentration and...

...and Hate.

Why does she hate me?

Can she not feel the connection between us?

That magnetic-like pull?

Maybe she has been claimed by someone else?

I let my tail sag with that thought.

'Wait.' I growled 'I am the most powerful Beta in the country I can have any woman I choose.'

But the voice in the back of my head was screaming 'I want her. I need Her!'

I took a step closer to her.

She lunged at my face.

I barely dodged the attack.

I quickly jumped het tackling her to the ground.

I rolled her over on her back, her belly showing up and I pinned her to the ground. She struggled under my grip and snarled and growled continuing to snap at my face.

Everywhere she touched me sent waves of electricity through my body. Didn't she feel it too? She didn't act like it, if she did she was a very good actress.

'STOP!' I commanded her.

'Never.' She barked back.

'What?' I was caught off guard once again but I held her down securely 'Alpha Law-' I began but she cut me off.

'Screw Alpha Law.' She growled

'Huh?' I asked confused

'If your gonna kill me, just do it already' she growled 'no need for small talk'

'I won't hurt you. I promise. I- I can't.' I stuttered the last part.

She stopped struggling and looked into my eyes seeing the truth there.

'I won't hurt you.' I told her again but I still held her down for fear she would run if I let her go.

"Chloe!" I heard a girl yell.

A human girl.

I looked up and saw a small dark haired girl high in the branches of the large oak tree.

Seeing her chance, the yellow wolf slipped out from under my grip, pushed me down the path a little ways where I tripped over a wire and something big and heavy collapsed on top of me.
