Finally Awake

...............................

Chi's point of View

...............................

His name is Luca Santanella Parker.

He was stunning, the most gorgeous man on earth, or so I believed, but he was also the most notorious.

He was infamous for his crimes of 'passion', bank robbery, illegal drug use, murder, human slavery and imprisonment, kidnapping, physical abuse, molestation of underage HUMAN girls... the list goes on.

Sadly he was one of the most powerful Alphas in the state, no scratch that in the country.

And he was only 21.

As the story goes his mom was a powerful Alpha's mate, and when his father was killed by rogues his mother ran off with a human boy.

He was 3 years old and his mom was 22.

His mother left him with his father's Beta a rather nasty guy, who raised Luca to be as hateful and cruel as he was.

When Luca turned 15 the ungrateful Beta threw him out. Blaming all his life problems on his mother he searched for her wishing to take his revenge out on her.

All he knew was hate.

A year later he found his mother living happily a few states over in Virginia. She had married that human boy and had a young son.

Seeing as his mother didn't care about him and had moved on, he broke into the house and killed her.

Some stories say that his brother and his mother's human husband escaped others say he killed them too, either way he was some sick Bastard.

Quickly word spread around in the werewolf world about the sick, cruel child.

Many hated him others worshipped him.

He began creating a pack and gathering followers.

He sold drugs to earn money, Kidnapped young girls to keep the guys in his pack content, and used physical violence to keep everyone in line. Many followed him because they were afraid of what he would do to them if they refused.

His Beta and second in command was an equally brutal wolf named Raen.

He was large about the size of a small pony, with silvery grey fur and icy blue eyes.

But his heart was just as cold as his eyes.

Any chance he got he would tear the throat of any wolf who dared to face him.

The thought of him brought chills up my spine.

I clung closer to the trunk of the tree as my red tail grazed the bark of the branch I sat on.

Chloe barked happily in the distance and I watched as those all too familiar blue eyes appear through the bushes below me.

'Raen!' I gasped

He lifted up his head listening to Chloe's excited howl and froze.

'Oh shit!' I gasped. I just knew he was going to turn around hunt her down and snap her neck, like the way he had killed my family.

But he didn't he merely wagged his tail in amusement.

'What? Why? What is he happy about? Chloe just took down Aria, who happened to be on his side.' I gasped looking down at him my mouth gaping open.

I flash of light shown through the trees.

It wasn't lighting.

I heard the shattering of glass and a wolf yelping in pain.

It was one of my Molotov Cocktails.

I laughed looking in the direction of the cries.

'Good Job Stella' I chuckle even though she can't hear Me.

Raen jerked his head up suddenly and took off running in Stella's direction.

'Oh shit!' I gasped. 'Chloe, Kiri! Stella needs help!'

'Right on it' was Chloe's response as loud thundering paws echoed through the bushes and she flew down the path underneath me heading towards Stella.

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Stella's point of View

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

It was dark and humid and mosquitoes buzzed around my face.

I clung to the tree trunk for dear life.

I always hated heights.

A green messenger bag was hung from the branch above me just low enough so I could reach inside it.

It held 3 Molotov Cocktails, homemade bombs.

Tied around my wrist was a small shoe string with a small lighter tied to it so I wouldn't drop it.

I listened as Chloe howled.

They were here.

I slowly and carefully pulled out one gasoline filled bottle and waited.

The bushed beneath me began to rustle.

A large multicolored wolf stalked through the bushes.

He was mostly brown with streaks of red, grey white and black throughout his fur, and thick black rings circling his eyes.

Not one of the girls I knew automatically.

I grabbed my lighter in my hand the cocktail in the other and lit the piece of cloth sticking out of the top that served as the wick.

Chloe had the cloth soak in vodka which is very flammable.

The moment the fire hit the cloth it spread more flames down into the bottle.

I dropped the bottle right on top of the wolf and as it was falling the gasoline in the bottle caught on fire causing the glass to shatter covering the wolf in a ball of flames.

I chuckled as the wolf looked up and was hit face first with the fire ball.

It screamed in pain.

I guess you can call me sadistic but I was enjoying this.

The wolf withered and shook on the ground.

His eyes had been burnt and his fur was on fire.

I heard the loud pounding of what sounded like little feet in socks but I realized were really a large wolf's feet as a large grey wolf flew through the bushes to help the one on fire.

He was huge. I thought the multicolored wolf was big but he was nothing compared to the grey wolf. And this wolf's eyes were the most peculiar shade of blue. Like the sky up north is just before it is about to snow.

He growled seeing the smaller wolf in pain and kicked up a bunch of sand covering the smaller wolf in it.

After a few seconds the smaller wolf was no longer on fire but he was black, his skin was burnt and he whimpered in pain and couldn't move.

The smell of burnt flesh drifted up to my nose and I swear I am about to vomit.

I clutched my stomach roughly.

The blue eyes wolf nudged the multicolored one but it refused to move. It's breathing had become quick and shallow and slowly stopped coming all together.

The blue eyed wolf growled and searched the bushes to what had happened to his friend.

Just then a small yellowish wolf I recognized as Chloe burst through the trees, jumping between the blue eyed wolf and the trunk of the tree I was in, she growled threateningly.

'Wow' I thought 'I never knew she could be so vicious.' Her hackles were rised and she snarled showing her long white teeth.

He layed his ears back and watched her carefully like he was stunned.
