"Try not to touch anything until you're clean." Levi scowled at me as I stepped inside, tripping over a broom.

"Sorry, that was my fault." Petra chuckled, bending down hurriedly and picking up the broom, I re-analyzed the squad, they were wearing their cleaning masks and aprons,

"Don't worry about it, we'll finish it after you're clean, you're leaving your filth everywhere." Levi scowled down at the muddy tracks behind me.

"Sorry Captain."

"Just get cleaned up Kid."

"Yes, sir."After I was spotlessly clean Petra forced me to lay in bed,

"How in the world did you beat yourself up this bad?!" Petra dabbed a warm cloth on my blue and purple bruises.

"I came in too hot and I slammed into a tree." Petra shook her head at my words, "What about Luke and the others?"

"They're being taken care of, don't worry about them, you brought them home."

"How many made it back? And there was a Garrison who helped me, is he okay?" I pulled my brows together, my stomach quivering with fear. Petra opened her mouth.

"Around thirty." Levi spoke as he leaned against the wall. "I'll look into the Garrison later."

"We'll talk about all that when you're better, for now rest." Petra smiled, "I'm gonna get you some food okay?" Petra left the room as Levi stepped forward. I averted my eyes, I couldn't look at him, all of his training prepared me, or it should have.

"Don't think about it too much right now. It's hard, but you did the right thing, you're alive." I nodded, not being able to speak. "You did well kid." Levi watched me intently.

"Not good enough." I averted my eyes, biting my lip to keep it from quivering. Silence.

"Just focus on rest for now."

"... Yes, sir."Once food was in front of me, it was hard to control myself. I picked up the bread hesitantly, I was starving, but I didn't want to look crazed, I took small bites as the Squad watched me.

"Come on Quinn, we know you're starving." Eld patted my shoulder, "Dig in." He didn't need to tell me twice, I shoved the bread into my mouth, chewing rapidly and before I knew it my loaf was gone, at this realization I attacked the soup, then went to my steamed potato, choking.

"Slow down, you're not an animal." Levi looked away from me in dismay, his arms still crossed as he leaned against the wall. I coughed, clearing my throat,

"Yes, Captain." Was he upset with me? I eyed the others, only resulting in small supportive smiles. "Captain?" Levi made eye contact, grunting. "A word?" Levi looked away, taking his weight off the wall behind him,

"Give us a few." At Levi's words the squad formed a line to exit the room, Petra grabbed my tray and joined the line. Once the door was shut Levi walked to my bedside. "What is it, Quinn?" Did he just call me by my first name?

"I-," I blinked in confusion, "I just thought that you were angry with me-."

"I am." I pulled my brows together as Levi stared down at me.
