Cole grinned slowly as he looked down at the duck pond, "what do I think of you now?"

I nodded, confirming that he'd repeated the question correctly, even though he couldn't see me. Honestly, I just really wanted him to answer the question!

Cole threw a few more crumbs into the water, still grinning as if thinking up all the possible different things he could say. Dear lord, I hoped he wouldn't say anything bad.

"I think that you're loud and outgoing and that you have a strange but also strangely adorable obsession with milk. I think that you're brave and strong-willed and even though you look like Tessa, you're your own person completely. You're kind and caring and the most trustworthy person I've only known you for a week, but sometimes it feels like a lifetime. I know that there is still a lot about you that I don't know, but I want to stick around so I can find out. I'm not saying that I'm suddenly madly in love with you, but I do like you, and I want to become closer to you and to be with you. Also, I think that you make an incredible room mate and I guess your pranks... aren't too shabby."

I laughed and then grinned at him, "I really like you too Cole."

"And since you got to ask a question, I say it's my turn now Idiot" Cole insisted.

I smiled, "ask away."

"So, where do we go from here?" he questioned.

"Well, how about we just continue being Cole and Danny and see where that takes us?" I linked my fingers through his as our eyes met.

"Wow, that sounds absolutely perfect" he whispered.

I smiled up at him and he smiled back down at me, causing butterflies to flutter through my stomach and-

"Gah!" Cole pulled me tightly to his chest, his voice having raised three octaves, "that duck just tried to eat my hand cause I was still holding bread crumbs!"

I chuckled and pulled away to see what he was talking about, which in turn, made me laugh even harder.

"Um, that's a goose, not a duck. I may really like you Cole Somme, but you are an Idiot" I smirked.

"Yeah maybe but at least it made you smirk" Cole grinned, "You still look sexy when you Smirk."
