"Baby!" "What's good baby?" "I need you to go get my brief case out the trunk for me." "Okay." 10 years later and a lot has changed. Life has a way of making you change your life around for the good. My business is doing great and the cash is coming in nightly. I got a big ass house, a bad ass woman, and two beautiful daughters Angelique and Amina. I'm doing great if I say so myself.

"Here you are baby." "Thank you love." Once I'm done filing my paperwork out. I get up and head over to the bank. I got some checks to deposit. My phone rings, "Hello?" I answer connecting my Bluetooth. "Baby can pick the girls up from school." "Yeah baby. I will as soon as I leave the bank." "Alright. I love you August." "I love you too Kenzie." She laughs before hanging up.

"Mr. Alsina how are you today?" "Good afternoon Mr. Campbell. I'm good. How are you?" "I'm good. How I can help today?" "I need to deposit these checks." "Alright." I hand him the book. After putting them in and printing out my statements. I leave out and head to the school.

"Hey daddy!" "Hey baby girl. How was your day?" "It was great. I got a gold star." "Sounds like someone deserves..." "Chocolate ice cream." "Chocolate ice cream it is. Don't tell mommy." Amina laughs and puts on her seat belt. Angelique gets in the car. "Well hello Angel." "Hey daddy." "What's wrong?" "Nothing." "Maybe she needs chocolate ice cream daddy." I laugh and shake my head.

We ride over to Brusters. We order our ice cream and sit down at the outside tables. "Daddy this is the best ice cream ever." "It is... Just don't tell your mother." "Yeah don't tell Lique Lique." Amina says. "That's not my mama." Angelique says rolling her eyes and neck. "Yes it is. Daddy tell her that's her mama too." I sigh, Raevyn got addicted to drugs 5 years ago. I've had Angelique ever since.

I assumed since Angelique was fairly young, it wouldn't have that tremendous of an effect on her. I was wrong. She resents the fact that I'm with another woman who isn't her mother. I try to be as understanding as possible but it's get hard when she walks around with a nasty ass attitude all the time. Mama Jones says she'll grow out of it but when is what I would like to know.

We finish eating out ice cream and head back to the house. "Mommy!" "Hey babies!" She hugs Amina and Angelique. "Get to the table and start on your homework." "Okay mommy." I walk into the kitchen. "Hey you." "Hey baby." "Why you looking like that?" "Angelique is in her mood again." "Baby it's understandable. I know I'm not her mother and I wouldn't ever want to replace Raevyn." "I know but still she gets irritated with Amina. Amina doesn't know the difference."

"One day at a time August. Amina will understand one day." "Yeah you right." My phone starts ringing, "I have to take this." I step into my office. "What's up Charles?" "What's good? You ready for tonight?" "I am ill be there as soon as I tuck in Lique and Amina." "Nigga who knew you would a damn family man." I laugh, "That's the best type of man to be." "No doubt. I'll see you tonight. First 500 bottles on me." "Nigga you balling cause my shit ain't cheap." "Got that bonus I've been wishing for. It's time to celebrate." "See you tonight."

"Dinner is ready!" Damn were eating this early already. I look down at my watch, it's 7. Damn where did the time go? I walk into the dining room. "Mommy can we go get ice cream?" I look over at Amina. She is one sick little 6 year old. "I don't know about that Amina considering you and your father already went." "How you know?" I ask.

"Alicia saw you three there." I laugh, "Amina got a gold star." "Uhm mhm August." "She did. Show mommy your star." I say looking over at Amina. "I showed her already." I smile, "Well I thought she deserved ice cream." "Before dinner?" "Alright alright I get it. We won't do it again." Amina looks at me and mouth drops, I wink at her. She smiles goes back to eating her food.

Once we're finish eating, the girls have their showers. "Daddy where are you going?" Amina asks. "To work." "Why?" "Because who else is going to make the money to buy you chocolate ice cream." She laughs, "Okay daddy." "Good night Amina. I love you." "Good night daddy, I love you too." I go over to Angelique bed.

"Daddy have you talked to you know?" She says looking over Amina. "I haven't but I'll see what I can do princess." She cracks a smile, "Alright daddy." "Good night baby, I love you." "I love you too." I kiss them both on their forehead before leaving out. "Babe I'll be home around 3." "Alright baby be careful." "I will. Wait up for me alright?" "Boy I might." "Later bae." I kiss her lips and grab my keys.

I arrive at the club. It's time to make some money. I walk inside the club. "Hey Mr. Alsina." "Hello ladies." I walk through and nod what's up. I walk into my office and look over a few things before I go out to mingle. I need to check security and make sure the bottles are stocked up. We got a few big ballers coming in the club tonight, it's gone be lit.
"August." "What's up Charles? You gave out them bottles you were talking about?" "I was waiting on you!" I laugh, "Let's do it."

Another successful night of work. I get back to my car. My phone starts ringing, what she doing up this late. "Hey mama." "Hey baby. Do you mind coming by the house?" "Sure mama. Everything is okay?" "Yes." "Alright I'm leaving the club I'll be there in a few." I get there within a few minutes. "What's up mama? Why you still up?" "Well baby..." She steps to the side, "Aleah!"
