I look over at Amaya, as if she feels me looking at her she looks up at me and smiles. "Mommy can you do my hair?" I smile at her, "Sure love. Let's go wash it." I can't believe she's here and been here for a week now. So far she's been adjusting well. Amaya is the sweetest ever and I can honestly say I love that little girl. I didn't think it would happen so fast and this quickly. It's only been a week but within this week her presence brightens my mood, her smile makes me smile, she loves her brother and little sister, being a big sister, and helping out with them. The twins love their big sister back.I unravel her twists and scratch her scalp. "Ahhh." I laugh, "Feels good?" She opens her eyes and smile, "Yes." I lean down to cut the water on. "Lean over mamas." She takes her glasses off and leans over. God what am I going to do with all this hair? I comb- well attempt to comb through her hair as I wash it. "Baby!" Ty yells. "Yes babe?" "Where at you ma?" "Bathroom." I rinse the conditioner out of Amaya's hair and slowly rise her up, grabbing a towels to wrap around her hair.
We walk out of the bathroom and Ty's sitting on the bed with the twins. "What's up bae?" I lean over and kiss his cheek. "How are my beautiful ladies doing?" I love that he treats Amaya as if she was his own daughter. He even spoke to me about going gaga over it, saying its what's supposed to happen, he's a man and when a man loves a woman he loves what comes along with her including her children. Although Amaya isn't his he's still going to be there just as much as if she really was his. That shit is beautiful and I can't help but go gaga over it.
"Good, Dad we went grocery shopping and to the park to the play. Mommy even bought me an outfit." I smile, we were iffy on of she'd call him dad and she just did. It happened so naturally. "Sounds like fun maybe next time you could buy me something." "Mommy you heard him." I laugh, "Maybe we will."
She sits down between my legs and I begin to grease her head as I part it. Tyleah starts crying and pitch gets high. "Baby her bottle is in their room." "Alright. What's wrong baby girl?" Ty says to her as he walks out of the room. The bassinet is up by the bed but Ty has put some rules on it, only if they cry in the middle of night or if I'm doing something in the room and want to keep an eye on them. He just doesn't know after he falls asleep I go get them.
"Did you hold me like that?" Amaya asks. I pause from her hair and gather my thoughts. How should I even go about this... "For a few moments in time I did and you know what?" "What?" "Despite the situation that was going on they were some of the best moments of my life."
She turns around and smiles at me. "Thank you for getting me back mommy. I love you." Tears drip down my cheek, they're teams of joy. I return the hug to her and smile. I wipe my eyes and Amaya turns around and sits back down. I put Amaya hair into some braids so it can Crinkle up. "Alright all finished baby girl." She gets and goes to the mirror to look and smiles stretching. "I'm sleepy." "Good night then mamas." "Good night mommy. I love you." I smile, "I love you too baby girl." She walks out of the room. "Let's tuck you in miss lady." I hear Ty saying in the hall.
Ty walks into and room and I glance up at him. "Sooo..." He says diving on the bed. I reach over and cut the baby monitors on. "So what?" I ask. "When are you becoming Mrs. Jackson?" I scrunch my face up and look down at my ring finger. "So babe how horrible of a person would I be if I said I haven't even started planning for our wedding???" I ask leaning up against him. "Well not that horrible of a person considering with that's been going on."
He so understanding. "I love that about you baby." He smiles, "I know I'm pretty awesome." "Damn right.... But what are you thinking? A Fall wedding or Winter?" I ask. "Hmm... I like fall." "What? Me too. I hate spring, summer is too hot, and it's too damn cold in winter." He laughs, "Why didn't you just say that then?" "I wanted to see what you'd say if it was different from what I was thinking, so we could argue and then have makeup sex." "Look at you!" Ty says laughing.
I laugh, "Forreal baby." "What about your scar?" I look up at him. "How'd you know about that?" "I know everything.... I'm very good at reading people and I see the way you get when your getting dressed or whenever it's visible." I smile nervously, "Yeah it's kind of uncomfortable and ugly." "Well I think your beautiful with it or without it." He says grabbing rubbing my knuckles. "Thank you baby." I lay on his chest and hear his heart beating. I feel butterflies inside my stomach as I lay here with him. I love him a lot, more than I love myself at times. Tywon Jackson is the best thing that's ever happened to me.
I wake up the next morning to the smell of some thing. What is that? Who is that? I get up and go down the stairs to see Ty and Amaya in the kitchen. "Are blueberry pancakes her favorite?" I hear her ask. "You know it lil mama. What's you're favorite kind?" "I love chocolate chips." Ty laughs, "What do you know.. Me too." I walk into the kitchen, "Morning loves." I kiss both of their cheeks. "These are for you mommy." Amaya says handing me a plate. "Thank you chef My-My." She laughs, "You're welcome mommy."
I sit down at the table, "Good morning love bugs!" I greet the twins. They look over at me from their swing. I can't believe how fast my babies are growing. TJ started doing this thing where it looks like he's blowing you a kiss. I blow him one and he blows me one right back. Tyleah coos at me. I blow her a kiss too, she cracks a smile at me. Ty and Amaya join me at the table with their plates and juice. "Well let's make a toast." Ty says. I all grab my glass and Amaya follows my league. "To Family." Ty says extending his glass of orange juice. "To Family..."
