"Baby!" "Yes Aleah." Ty mumbles. "Get up sleepy head!" "I need five more minutes." I get on top of him and randomly place kisses on his face. "Stop kissing me girl. I'm trying to sleep." He puts his hands in my face. "But bae we have to start preparing everything." "Five more minutes won't stop that." "Fine." I get off of him and out of the bed. With my arms crossed across my chest I stand there.  Ty rolls over and looks at me. "You pouting now?" "What does it look like?" "You just gone be mad Aleah Jones." He throws the covers over his head.

I walk into the twins room. "Good morning babies! Happy birthday snooks!" I pick them up and they both lay perfectly on both sides of my shoulder. Everyone except myself is still sleepy. "Y'all was up with y'all daddy?" I ask walking back into the bedroom. I grab there bottles and head down the steps.

"Alright I'm up." Ty says coming into the kitchen wrapping his arms around me. "Go lay in bed all day I'll do all the work." "You promise?" He asks smiling. I roll my eyes, "I'm can't deal today. Stop being so damn lazy." "Chill baby I was joking." "I didn't find it funny." "Clearly... What's wrong with you?" "I just want our children first birthday to be special." "Are you sure that's it?" "Yes." I assure him.

"Good morning." Amaya says walking I to the kitchen. "Good morning baby girl." Ty and I say in unison. "August and the girls are coming over today." I say to Amaya. "Yay. I haven't seen them in a long time." "Yeah I know."

A few hours go by and it's almost time. I'm laying down on Ty when the doorbell rings. We both get up but he gets up to answer the door. "Hey baby." I hear Grandma Francis saying. She walks into the living room. "Hey baby." I get up, "Hey grandma!" She looks around, "Where the birthday boy and girl at?" "Sleeping there first birthday away." She laughs, "Well Tywon your aunt and all them were going go come but something happened with their flight. I got delayed or something."

That's a bummer. Majority of them is who we were expecting. Someone is going to eat all that food we bought. Ty scrunches his face up, "That's just like them." Grandma looks up, "Don't be like that Ty. You know they'd be here if they could." "Grandma you know that's a lie. They miss everything that happens down here but you can always fly up to see them. They would love that but find it so hard to return the favor." Ty says shaking his head.

"They do this a lot?" I ask. "Yes and this is why I don't really fool with them like that now." "Oh wow." Well it all make sense, he was sketchy on saying he invited them in the first place. "But baby it's cool. Tyleah and TJ will have all those who really matter the most around. I don't have time to deal with any other mess today. It's all about them." Ty says, he leaves out the room. "Give him time to cool off." Grandma says sighing.

It's another knock, I go answer it. "Hey!" August and the crew says as soon as I open the door. "Hey y'all. Come on in." "It smells good in here." Amina says walking inside. "We'll be eating shortly lil mama." I hear Amaya coming down the steps. "Hey!" She greets Angelique and Amina. I was caught up watching the girls I didn't hear August coming through the door with a bunch of presents with some lil boy

August clears his throat, "Aleah this is Taylor, Taylor is this Aleah." I turn around to a tall, brown skin, with semi long hair, and the perfect white teeth to accommodate the smile she currently has plastered on her face. I smile back and shake her had. "It's nice to finally meet you Taylor." "Likewise Aleah, I've heard so much about you." "And meet D." August says introducing the boy. He smiles at me and I return it, "Hey D. I'm Aleah." "Nice to meet you I'm Deandre." He so cute and small I wonder how old he is.

Ty walks back in, "Hey what's up everybody?" "Baby this Ty, Leah's Fiancé." Taylor extends her hand, "It's nice to meet you." "It's finally nice to you meet you too." Ty says shaking her hand. "You must be D?" Ty asks him. "Yes sir." "Nice to finally meet you young man." "Likewise sir." Taylor takes a seat next to Amaya. She seems like a nice girl.

Once everything is up and ready to go we all move outside. TJ and Tyleah finally decided to walk up a few minutes ago, now we can get this party started. I look around and everyone is going their own thing basically. Grandma is talking to August and Taylor, the girls and D are playing in the sprinkler/area with the twins, Ty is doing something on his phone while I organize the gift table.

Ty comes over to the table. "Baby." "Yes Ty?" I stop what I'm doing and look up at him. "Come here." I put my hand on my hip, "Dont you see me doing some?" He's halfway around the table anyway he may as well come to this side of it. "Now you're just standing there." He says walking over to me. "Yes Tywon Jackson?" "I need to ask you something Mrs. Jackson..." "What's that?" "Ima ask you later but don't let me forget." He could've just said this later but I guess. "Alright."

They look so cute in their outfits. We make some adorable ass babies. "Baby get me some of those mini chicken sandwiches." "Sure Aleah." We had ChickFilLa to cater the party. I was really wanting some too, this happened right on time. I look over and see Taylor talking to Amaya off to the side. Hm...

Ty brings back over the sandwiches. "These things are life." I say biting one. "Finally you got your Chick-Fil-La." I laugh, "I know right finally." I go over to the twins, "Is it good?" They look up at me and continue working on the fry they had in there hand. Everyone else comes over and starts making their plates. "So Taylor what do you do for a living?" I ask. "I'm a school counselor." "Oh okay."

We sing happy birthday to the twins and let them dig into their own cake. They look so cute with icing everywhere. I snap a few pictures of them and then start to clean up this half of the yard. "Hey need some help?" Taylor asks. "Sure." We start clearing off the table. "Amaya's a sweet girl." She says. "Yes I agree. She's very sweet." "So have you given any thought as to when Aug will be getting her back?" "Excuse me?"

"I'm only asking because it's crucial for her therapy progress." "Look Taylor what I do with my daughter is my concern. As a professional I appreciate your concern about Amaya's well being but she hasn't shown any signs of discomfort, emotional unstableness, nothing. She's a happy and healthy 9 year old." Taylor looks at me with her mouth halfway open. "You aren't the only one who knows a thing or two."

"Aleah I didn't mean to offend you in any type of way if I did. I was just thinking of Amaya." "In doing that same. No offense to it, I'm sure you didn't mean it intentionally." She smiles, "No I didn't." "Thought so." I get inside the house to throw away the table clothes. "So Aleah..." August says coming inside. "If you're here to discuss the well being of Amaya like your girl just did, she's fine." "What? No. I was just going to ask your opinion on something."

"Okay what's up?" "How does New York sound?" "Like it's all the way across the world. Who's going to New York?" He rest his hand behind his neck, "Well me and the girls and D." I glance up from the cup I was sipping on to August. "Why? What's in New York?" "A new life." "But where is this coming from?"

Although we haven't been talking I feel a bit uneasy about this. "Just been thinking." "Well what's wrong with the life here?" I ask. "Just tired of the same o shit here." "Well I guess if you really like New York would be a good choice than here." He smiles, Thanks Aleah." "No problem August anytime." "Even in New York?" "Even in New York."

"Well baby the party was a success." I say laying head on his shoulder. "Yes ma'am. It was." "What was it you wanted to ask me?" "Are you pregnant?" A chill runs through my body. "Yes well maybe." I say softly.
