The next few days go by and I haven't heard anything from anyone. Mama has been in and out of sleep. August them haven't came up since they left the other day. I haven't been feeling up to much company anyway so it's all working out in my favor. I look down at my phone and watch it ring. It's only August, if it's that important he knows where to find me. I've been reflecting on a lot of shit these last few days. I'm tired honestly of all the shit with August, the drama with Mackenzie, I have bigger and better things to worry about than that. Enough is enough and you have to learn when to let go.

"What's up ma?" I look up and see Ty. "Hey. How did you find me?" "Magic." I laugh, "Alright Ty." "Don't worry you ain't cute enough to stalk." "Nigga." He laughs, "How she feeling? How you doing?" "She's alright for now. They're still putting a damn expiration date on her like she's some damn milk." "Doctors always prepare you for the worst." "Yeah I guess and I'm fine just chilling." "I stopped by and saw your best friend the other night." "Oh..." " I see why y'all asses best friends, do the damn most over lil shit." "Shut up I do not." "Yes you do... But Ty I love him." The way he just attempted to mock me though. I laugh, "Shut the hell up." "Not my fault you love a married man." "I like an unmarried one though." "Who?" "You nigga."

"Ah hell best friend ain't gone like that." He so damn extra talking about me. "He has a wife no?" "Oh now you acknowledge her." "I've been acknowledging her I still don't like her as a woman and she still doesn't have an ounce of my respect." "Why not?" "I just don't like her. She acts like a lil know it all when she doesn't no anything." "That's it? This has nothing to do with her marrying August?" "At first it did but now no." "I got you ma." "Yeah so what's good?" "You done watching bitches husbands?" I laugh, "Yes Ty I'm done." "Be my girl." "That a question." "Nah it's more so a statement that you should just agree with." "Oh that's how this works huh?" "You know." "Well sure lets see how this goes." "Broke ass and cheap ass has made it official." "You play so much." "Only when I like you. If I'm not joking around you then should be worried."

"I got you." He smiles, damn that made heart just skip a beat. "Kiss me."  "Girl I dwas not want to-" I kiss him instead. "You can't be just kissing me off guard and shit like that." I laugh, "Well I did and you like it." "Weak ass kiss." "Ty!" He laughs, "Alright, alright it was cool for a girl and all. You ain't on a grown woman status yet." I look at him. Is he serious.... "There you go with that serious shit again." "You didn't sound like you were playing Ty." "Oh I wasn't but it's cool baby. You'll be a pro by next month or you can your money back." I laugh,"I want all of it back too."

"Look at you acting like you paid for me. I'm not from some male service." "Ty chill." I can't stop laughing around this fool. It's a knock on the door, "Oh didn't know you had company." Mackenzie says. "It's cool." I say not even looking her way. "I'm Mackenzie." "Ty." "Does he know about-" Get real, messy ass. "Yeah he knows about August." I say rolling my eyes. Leave it to her to come up in here trying to start shit already. He already knows everything. "If I didn't would it be your place to tell me? For instance if I told you your husband is in love with another woman and he was leaving you, would it be my place to tell you? No it wouldn't. Stop trying to be messy and use that energy to be mad at you're husband. Yeah Aleah was wrong too but you can't be mad at the other woman, he is just as wrong as she is."  Ty says. Well damn Ty. He spoke the truth on that.

Looking back it is something I wish I didn't do. It really only complicated things more with me and August. Who the hell has time for that.? I have start learning to think for myself and not allow the actions of others detour me from mine. I told myself I wasn't going to sleep with him that night but I did and now look. I mean the shit was good but look at all the shit it brought along with it. I refuse to go down this damn road again.

"Why did he call you the other woman?" " Damn August didn't tell her! "You know how-" "Aleah stop bullshitting the woman and let her know." I can't do this to August. "Okay Ty... It's just like-" "What's popping in here?" August says walking through the door. "Aleah about it tell me why he called her the other woman..." He looks at me. "I can not do this. August you tell your wife everything." I walk out of the room. "Aleah you're too loyal to him." "Ty I know I can't help it." "Do you think he would do the same for you?" "I'd be a fool to say yes..." "I have never seen some shit like this before and o don't know if I love it or hate it... Any other shit I need to know about?" "No you know everything. You know I don't have any problem telling you whatever. You've become my shoulder to cry on figuratively speaking of course." "I'm your man now so no more of that gossip girl shit."

"You're such an asshole." "Yes an honest asshole. I'm not the type to put up with this crazy back and forth shit. You niggas either gone be strictly friends or nothing at all." "I really just need my space from him and everything else. Need an assistant?"
