We get inside the house after leaving mama's house. "August I don't like this at all." "What you want me to baby?" I sit my bag down on the table. "For the sake of my own sanity just don't do anything you would regret." Man if she knew what the hell we was on last night. It's over and done with now, everything is back to normal. "That's Aleah for you." "Yeah she's awesome." I laugh, "Alright well I guess I'll be getting ready for work." "Are you picking up Aleah?" "I don't know yet she might have her friend Ty or whatever the hell that nigga name is drop her off." "Hm." "Are you going to start being on my back about Aleah? Mackenzie licks the tip before taking in all of me. Shit this girl gives good ass head. I guide her head. She looks up at me. I lay back on the bed. I close my eyes. Upon opening them I see Aleah. I shake off my crazy ass thoughts and walk into the girls room. "Good night Mina." "Good night daddy. Are you going back over to grandma's house with your little friend?" What did she just say? "Good night Amaya." "Good night daddy." "Sleep tight sweets." "I will. I love you." "I love you too sweets." I walk over to Angelique beds next. "Good night Liq." "Dad I'm getting too old for this." "Girl please you'll be thirty and I'll still walk into your room and tuck you in." She laughs, "Good night daddy." "I love you princess." "I love you too dad." I kiss each of them and then leave out. I love my girls man. It made me happier knowing Amaya is my child biologically.

"Alright babe. I'll catch you when I get off." "You coming straight home?" "Once I drop Leah off yeah." She looks at me. "What's wrong?" "Nothing Aug. I'm trippin. I'll see you tonight." "Good night baby." I kiss her cheek. "No wait up for me tonight?" "Well I mean I don't always say that but if you want too baby I wouldn't mind." "I think I will. Have fun at work." "I got you." I don't have time for this suspicious shit now.

I walk inside and into my office. "What's up boss?" "What's good Leah?" We speaking as if we ain't see each other earlier today. "What you need me to do?" "You know what I actually ain't got much for you to do tonight. After you sort through these forms you can go to the bar or wherever." "Alright cool."

She sits there and sort through them as I watch. "What August?" "Nothing Leah." "You're staring... what's on your mind?" You and your undying loyalty to my dumb ass. "Nothing, I was  just looking." "Sure you were." She gets up, "I'm done. Will you be joining me boss?" "Sure. It's on you?" "Nigga you own this bitch it's always on you." I laugh and get up.

"What will it be boss?" "Let me get two fireballs J." "Coming right up." We sit on the stools. "Hey Mr. Alsina." One of my new waitresses says. "What's good Jen?" She hugs me. "Everything. Thanks for the job. I greatly appreciate it." "No problem girl just keep serving them up." "I got you. If it's anything you ever need don't hesitate to let me know." "I'm sure his wife would." Aleah says.

Jen fakes a smile and then walks off. "I still don't know why you hired her." Aleah says downing the shot. "Yo ass just don't like nobody. She needed to work money is money no?" "It is but still you're married." "Since when you start defending my wife?" "I definitely don't like your wife but I don't like hoes even more." "Hm." After a few more shots I stop or my ass won't be able to drive.

"Aleah have you had any thoughts about Amaya?" "Nah I haven't actually. Why?" "I was just asking." "I wouldn't take that away from Mackenzie. She looks like a good mother minus the whole Raevyn shit." "I mean it's not nothing she has against Raevyn she just feels like her environment and presence isn't good for Angelique to be around."

"Who the hell is she to make that decision on what's best for Angelique that's on you my nigga." "I value her input." "I'm sure you do August but that still your daughter." "I see what your saying. Have you been able to talk to her?" "Nah I tried calling and going to the halfway house she was at. They said she moved and the type of program she's in she can't have contact with outside people yet." "Oh well at least she's getting up."

I check the time it's 2 already. "Leah you ready?" She takes down three more shots. "Yeah..." We walk to my truck and hop inside. "You coming inside?" "I can for a few minutes." "Okay."

We get there and inside her room. I'm only staying for a few minutes. I sit down on the bed while Aleah changes in the bathroom. I lean back on this bed. Aleah comes out and lays beside me. "Your haircut looks nice." I say looking at her. "Thanks." She says with her eyes closing. "Lay with me for a few minutes." "Just a few and then I need to head home." I take my jacket off and then get back in beside her. We wrap up into each other arms.

"This feels good." "It does." I lightly kiss her cheek. "I love you Aleah." She yawns, "I love you too August." Just a few minutes... Within a few seconds we're both out.

I wake up to the sun shining in my face. Aw fuck. "Shit." I mumble getting up. I hear Aleah scream. What the hell? I run into the kitchen and see mama laying on the ground. "Call 911! Now!"
