I was now in the car with Ashton, heading towards the bar. He was going to drop me off and then head out for something quick to eat and meet me back there around six thirty. Half an hour before my set.

I grabbed my instruments out of the boot and entered the bar. Trying not to trip on my seven inch stiletto heels.
Once inside, I handed my set list to Dan. I used the time Ashton, was still sleeping to write the final song on the list. I got Luke's approval too.

I walked over and sat at the bar, noticing that Mason was back from his holiday. He was a bar tender here at the Exford and a good friend, well not friend; more acquaintance. Erin had told me quite a few times that she is certain he likes me. I didn't have that much trouble believing her
"Well, well, well," i spoke, when I saw Mason heading over to serve me, "look whose back from Thailand!"
"Yeah, I'm back," he sighed, "didn't want to come back to this shit though,"
"Yeah I getcha, I'm in need of a holiday," I said
"So what'll it be?" He asked
"Usual," I told him. He poured me a glass of white wine.

Mason and I continued to speak for the next hour and a bit, "so, uh," Lex," he said
"Yeah? What's up Mase?"
"So I was wondering if maybe you wanted to go out sometime?"
"Uh..." I was about to answer when we were interrupted
"Hey babe," I heard the familiar voice, and then felt a kiss on my cheek; that caused butterflies erupting in my stomach
"Hey," I gave a small smile, "what did you ask again, Mase?" I asked
"Nothing, Lex, doesn't matter," he said, with a sad smile, "whose this?"
"I'm Ash," Ashton said, introducing himself, extending his hand for Mason to shake
"Mason," an awkward silence just passed over us, "sorry mate you look kinda familiar, have we met before?"
"Doubt that," Ashton shrugged, to be honest I was kind of annoyed that he interrupted Mason like that, but at the same time; I really liked how he came up and kissed my cheek, regardless of who may have seen, "I'm from Sydney and I haven't been in the country much over the last couple of years,"
"Then how do you two know each other?" Mason asked
"We grew up together," I said, wondering why I had to explain all of this to Mason. He knew I grew up in Sydney; and that I left a guy back there, he didn't know that the guy was Ashton Fletcher Irwin from 5 Seconds of Summer and he didn't know that the guy was standing two feet in front of him on the other side of the bar.

Luke and Briella showed up five minutes later, as did Erin
"Hi guys," I said walking over to them, giving them all a hug, "Erin, this is Briella," introduced the two blondes, "and you already know Luke and Ashton,"
"How does she know them?" Briella asked
"I was Lex's boss up in Sydney," Erin explained, "and now I'm her boss again, known Ashton since he was about fifteen and Luke since Ash joined the band,"
"Well it's nice to meet you," Briella said
"It's been great guys," I told them, "I've gotta head over to the stage and set up,"
"No worries!" Briella smiled, "I'm gonna get a drink, anyone want one?"
"I'll help love," Erin said, "good luck up there doll," I smiled. I walked over to Luke quickly
"You ready?" I asked
"Yep," he nodded
"Good luck up there babe," Ashton told me, he gave me a kiss on the forehead, and I swear I could melt. He was making it so hard for me not to be in love with him. I went to walk towards the stage, and he grabbed my wrist pulling me back to him, "you look fucking hot, if we weren't in public..." I quickly looked around to see if anyone was watching, thank goodness they weren't. Well Luke was, Erin and Elle were still at the bar
"Later babe," I said quietly, and reached up to grab the neck of his t-shirt, so he could be closer to my own height. Still in my heels I was quite a bit shorter than him, so I stood on my toes and gave him a quick kiss on the lips. I let go and walked towards the stage.

"Well it's time for our next performer," Dan said in to the mic, "this girl's a regular here, and always knows how to bring the house down! So please welcome to our little shit hole bar, Lexa!"
"Well thank you for that warm welcome Dan," I told him, "as said previously, I'm Lexa, and welcome to The Exford! Before I begin, I just ran into a couple of old friends from Sydney, some of you young ones might know who they are," I laughed, I had noticed that there were a few young girls here, dressed in band tees and ripped jeans, one was even wearing a Clifford 95 top, "I just wanted to say welcome to them, and that I hope they enjoy the show!"
I picked up my guitar and started the first song, an original called Human, "this is an original of mine, first time I'm playing this live, but if you follow me on YouTube you've probably heard it, this is Human," I spoke, and began to play the opening chords, "lonely, lonely, so you think that you know me..." I began to sing, "... Everything you see that glitters isn't always gold, Everything you think is perfect, oh, Isn't always so, Many times many times I would've let my feelings show, Everything you see that glitters
Isn't always gold, You know I'm just human, human, human after all, You know I'm just human, human, human after all, You know I'm just human, human, human after all, You know I'm just human, human, human after all," I finished the song.
