Cailin

"Ashton looked so awkward when I asked him about Lex," I told my friend Teagan, who just so happened to work with my oh so lovely housemate
"Why does it even matter?" She asked
"Because I know she's lying about something to do with him," I told her, "like why would Hi Or Hey send her a concert ticket? She doesn't even like the band,"
"Maybe she won a competition or something," she shrugged
"They normally give out two or more tickets," I told her, as if it was the obvious answer which it was, "it also can't be a coincidence that her old friend from Sydney shows up in Melbourne the same time Luke and Ashton do,"
"Maybe it is,"
"Why do you not think this is a big deal, Teags?" I asked
"Why are you making it a big deal Cai?" She asked, taking a sip of her cocktail. We'd decided to go to a bar for lunch this after noon
"Because it is," I nearly screamed at her, I wanted too, but I decided against it, "like she went to school with like one of the most attractive and famous people in the world,"
"He said they just had music class together," she told me, "did you ever think that's all there is to it? Like you know so much about this band, you would know if she was lying,"
"Yeah, that's true, but I never really cared about them until they opened for One Direction. I mean they weren't a big deal then,"
"Do you know any fans that have been fans since day one?" She asked
"No, unfortunately," I sighed, "most of the fans kinda hate me,"
"I wonder why," she added sarcastically. That comment wasn't needed
"Can we not talk about that please?" I groaned
"Cailin, I love you, but what you said was completely stupid, and the fact you thought they'd believe you?"
"I know, it was really stupid," but then an idea formed in my head. I knew exactly how I could bust Lex out in a lie. I know that I didn't really have any proof that she was lying, I could just sense it though. I mean, wouldn't you brag about going to high school with Ashton Irwin? I mean that's a huge deal, I personally would let the whole world know.

The rest of the day dragged on rather slowly. Erin let me leave at five rather than half past, even though I still had all of the jobs that I'd left for Teagan to do. I grabbed my bag and headed out of the store.

As I was walking down to my car, I noticed I had a missed call from Ashton. Throughout the day I'd been thinking about our situation and whether or not we were doing the right thing. The last couple of days were so intense that I didn't have any time to think about the situation. All that I had time to think of was how he was going to pleasure me next, when Cailin was going to come home and how long this would go one for. Whether it was right or not, was the farthest thing from my mind.
Once in my car, I started it up and connected my phone to the Bluetooth. Once it was connected I drove out of the managers parking space. I turned my music on and put on some old school rock.

I continued driving home, singing to the music playing from the speakers when my phone began to ring again. The screen showed it was Ashton. I clicked the answer button on my cars stereo system, "hey,"
"Hey, did you just finish work?" He asked
"Yeah about ten minutes ago, sorry I didn't answer, I was gonna call when I got home,"
"All good," he said, "I've been doing some thinking," he began, and immediately the feeling of worry came over me. Yes I'd been thinking all day too, most likely about the same things as he had been, but just because it may have been the wrong thing to do, did I really want it to stop?
"Yeah I have too," I sighed through the phone, hoping he wasn't going to say that we should stop
"Come over to the hotel, and we can talk," he said
"Yeah will do," I knew this was coming, I was about to hang up when he spoke again
"But go home first and bring some stuff for tomorrow babe," and then I was smiling again
"Okay, I'll see you in about half an hour or so, depending on traffic,"
"Alright, later babe,"
I hung up the phone and resumed playing my music. Turning it up all the way and scream-singing along to the lyrics.
