CHAPTER 23 - "US"

"Where exactly are we?" Obviously we're on a beach. Yes, a beach. Can you believe this guy? What are we doing on a beach?

"I miss you." Whoa, not the answer I was expecting. But that caught me off guard.

"Ken, hindi mo pa sinasagot ang tanong ko."

"Our rest house."

"Bakit mo ako dinala dito?"

"Dahil gusto kitang makasama. Alone." Uhmm. Bakit kinakabahan ako? "Whoa, it's not what you think.!" Nakita niya siguro sa reaksyon ng mukha ko na kinabahan ako sa sinabi niya. Hindi ko alam ang sasabihin ko.

"I want to talk to you Gabby."

"I tried to talk to you Ken. We talked actually but you never listened. Heck, you called me a sl*t pa nga from our last conversation diba?" Sinisigawan ko na siya. Suddenly, I wonder if may ibang tao dito.

"And I'm sorry for that. I regret everything I said Gab. I didn't mean it. I guess I was just... I was just."

"You were just what Ken?"

"JEALOUS! I was jealous okay?" I stepped back. Nagulat sa sinabi niya. "I know I don't have any right to be jealous but I can't help it Gab." He hugged me tightly. "I want you Gab. I want you just for myself, I'm that selfish." I hugged him back.

"I miss you too."

He pulled away, smile and leaned closer. Our faces are just an inch away. My heart beats fast, in a good way. Closed my eyes and felt his lips on mine.

That moment where as if you can hear fireworks, the charge you feel when you felt him touching you. It was all happening and it was wonderful.

"I love you, Gabriella." He whispered after pulling away but still leaning his forehead on mine.

"I love you too, Ken." He smiled, his eyes closed. He is gorgeous. When he opened his eyes, you can see it sparkle, I don't know how, but it did. Then he kissed me again.

He is helding my hand as we walked on the beach. Madaling araw na pero andito parin kami. Ayaw pa kasi naming pumasok sa loob. Hindi pa kami makatulog. Eh, sino ba naman ang makakatulog sa nangyari kanina diba?

"Gab, are you tired? I think we should get back."

"No, I'm fine. Don't worry. I can't sleep anyway."

"Okay, at least umupo muna tayo dito." Umupo kami sa beach. You can't appreciate the view dahil ang dilim pero lasap mo yung magandang hangin at ang sarap sa feeling ng buhangin.

"Lagi ba kayong pumupunta dito?" Tanong ko naman sa kanya.

"Not really, no. Pag may oras lang which is not often. Kaya we open this beach for public instead pero during summer lang.”

"I like it here. It's relaxing. I forgot all my heartaches." I was looking straight at the beach when I was talking and I felt him staring. So, I looked at his direction. "What?"

"I really am sorry Gab. I didn't mean to hurt you." Oh, he thought its just about us. I hope nga it's just about us, nothing else.

Should I tell him? I better not. I don't know.

"Gab?"

"Yep?"

"Are you okay? Kanina pa kita tinatawag pero hindi mo ako pinapansin."

"Yeah, I'm okay. May iniisip lang."

"Me too. Gab? Does this means, we're together?"

I just smiled at him. Then I leaned closer and kissed him.

"Does that answers your question?"

He nodded and smiled.

"I love you."
