We walk into Ethan's office as he walks ahead and sits down on his chair behind the desk. The guys follow suit and take the two seats in front of him. I guess I'm stuck in the corner again as I head to the back corner and sit down on the edge of the black leather couch.
No one said a word as we crossed the path and into the large building leading into his office but I couldn't help but feel everyone was on edge.
"These are the documents alpha Hanes has requested, I understand he has spoke to you about this already." I'm surprised to hear him speak so formal.
I watch him hand a thick black envelope to James's as he than opens it pulling out a heap of papers and flicks through it, just looks like a bunch of paperwork from here.
"Yes well the allegations you have on alpha sanders are quite disturbing." he replies falling into his beta mode looking through the papers.
So I guess this is how alpha meetings go I've actually never been present in the room when they hold them and it's interesting to watch how they interact with each other there so formal.
Wait alpha sanders is Ethan's father but I thought he was dead? there talking like he's still here?
"Everything you need to know about my father and the situation at hand are within those papers." he says with a hint of anger and his eyes fixed on James.
His father? What has his father done if he's not actually dead and he's obviously not in fallen moon territory I frown as I watch them. trying to keep up with there conversation.
"So you are aware of the packs forming together for one purpose only?" Jason says firmly sounding just like them.
"I am very aware of what is going on and that is why I have approached alpha Hanes for his assistants as he is the only alpha out there that will listen before judging me on hear say." he states sounding irritated but I don't think it was towards Jason.
"This is all the proof we need." James looks up from the papers in his hands to Jason and nods his head.
Proof for what? See I'm left out of the circle 'again.
"Why have you not cleared this up years ago." James asks in disbelief looking back at Ethan.
Ethan takes a deep breath as he leans back in his chair as I'm sure i saw a sign of relief wash over his face as it was instantly gone.
"What the other alphas think of me was not my concern.. My priority is my pack." he answers strongly but his face shows no emotion.
"And the packs that have been destroyed and burnt to the ground to no longer exist? Was that not your concern either?" Jason says with a hint of anger in his voice.
I stiffen as The room almost explodes from the instant anger flow off Ethan as one minute he was ok to the next his eyes are black and the atmosphere is dark so very dark as he's glaring at Jason, I'm even more surprised that Jason doesn't move he doesn't even flinch as I feel him holding his ground. Ethan's gaze falls upon me taking a deep breath he looks back to Jason.
"We have Been hunting my father since the day he ran.. to stop the destruction he leaves behind to try and save the lives before they are lost." Ethan speaks calmly though with so much anger laced in his words.
So it really wasn't him? the killings wasn't fallen moon? I'm starting to slowly piece this puzzle together ...
"And what is it exactly that you need from midnight blue?" James says calmly as if he's trying to defuse the bad energy racing around the room.
Ethan's eyes snap to James as he spoke but the intensity of the room hasn't changed. I'm beginning to feel Ethan's handling himself quite well he hasn't raised his voice once or cussed or even re-cracked his already cracked table the man has serious anger issues but I have to give him credit he's kept himself professional this whole time.
