"You can't be serious"
"Serious as I'll ever be" Ethan says flatly
"I'm your mate, I'm sure we will cross paths eventually, wouldn't it be better under these circumstances?" I ask feeling frustrated, where just going in circles
"No"he says clearly annoyed while adjusting his tie
He's fully dressed now as I've been following him around arguing his reason for not wanting me to come to the celebration. Even to the point that I was still yelling through our mind link while in between our showers.
"So you let me go out and get this dress knowing full well you had no intentions of letting me come, that's just cruel!" My voice rising, throwing the box that my dress is in onto the bed next to him
I briefly feel a little dramatic but right now I don't care
He looks at the box as he runs his hand through his hair, slightly messing it up, I mentally roll my eyes at the fact he just made it look better. Only Ethan.
"Please Mia, can you not fight me on it, anything else but this" he says looking defeated not taking his eyes off the box
I frown at his words, he makes it sound like I fight him over everything all the time.
"I'm not made of glass Ethan I won't break.'.. let me live a little" I say stepping aside as he gives me a slight glare
He disappears into the wardrobe making me take a seat back on the bed tracing the pretty red ribbon on the box
I watch him come back out, now dressed with shoes and his suit jacket as he stops in front of me
He goes to speak at the same time his phone beeps instantly stopping him
He takes his phone out of his pocket and I watch his fingers glide over the screen. Catching my breath as Remember the feeling of his fingers inside me, I let my eyes wonder down the suit he's wearing, before he's shoving the phone back into his pocket.
He looks delicious
"Mikes here" he says Narrowing his eyes at me
"Maybe I'll just turn up, I'm sure I can find my own way there" I say testing his reaction of me actually coming
"It's invite only and i assure you, your not on the guest list" he replies with a challenging look
"Are you sure about that?" I say smugly
I watch him nod his head slowly before a look of confusion forms on his face as he stares back at me
Maybe I shouldn't have said that I look away before he can find the answer he's looking for
"You will be there as well as my friends, it will be fine.. Please... let me come" I feel myself beginning to beg, hopefully distracting him from working it out on his own.. That somehow, he always seems to do.
It doesn't even sound like a big deal. His reason for me not attending is actually pathetic in my mind. I sit there watching him hesitate clearly thinking something through as he than steps towards the door.
