I walk into the castle and into a large room. I guess it's the throne room because of the large throne.

When Aunt Elizabeth and I are close to the throne, the guards push us down onto our knees.

A few moments later, Queen Emerald walks in. She has auburn hair, and emerald dress (go figure), emerald shoes, a crystal tiara braided into her hair, and she walks with the perfect royal posture.

Delicately she sits on her throne.

"I am Queen Emerald," she announces in a silky voice. "I will ask you questions and you will answer them. I have the power to know when you are lying, so I would not lie if I were you."

She paused for the slightest second, then continues on, "Who are you?"

"I am Elizabeth of the Eastern Earth Tribe, Your Majesty,"Aunt Elizabeth answers.

"And I am Elliot of the Eastern Earth Tribe...Your Majesty," I add quickly.

She looks at me for a moment before continuing, "Why have you come here?"

"For supplies, Your Majesty," Aunt Elizabeth answers.

"For what do you need the supplies for?" Queen Emerald asks.

"For-" Aunt Elizabeth starts.

"I would like Elliot to answer the rat of the questions," Queen Emerald interrupts.

I gulp, "For a long journey."

"Where are you going?"

"The Water Tribes, Your Majesty."

"Why?" she asks taken aback.

"We have...some business to attend to , Your Majesty," I answer carefully.

"With whom?"

I hesitate, trying to think of a way around the question. Unfortunately, I think of none so I answer truthfully, "Queen Willyn."

This time, Queen Emerald looks completely bewildered.

"What business do you have with her?"

"She has something of mine, Your Majesty," I reply calmly.

"What is it that she has, dear Elliot?" the Queen asks.

Again, I pause to find away around the question. And yet again, I can not find one. I sigh, "The throne."

She pauses for a moment in concentration. Probably to figure out if I'm lying. After deciding that I'm not, she whispers to her guard.

"I am sorry Elliot and Elizabeth, but I do not trust what you plan to do. I am afraid it could hurt Kimwaë drastically. I must put you in the dungeon for now."

Two guards walk over. Each one picks up either Aunt Elizabeth or I. They escort us out of the room and down a series of hallways and a couple stairways before throwing each of us in a different cell.

As soon as the guard throws me in my cell, I stand back up and start banging on the bars.

"Let me out! You have to let me out! I can save Kimwaë! Please, you must trust me! Let me out!" I yell.

"It's no use," a voice behind me says.

I jump at the sound of the noise and turn to look in my cell. Finally, I see a boy about my age sitting in the corner.

"It's no use banging and yelling," he says again. "I've been trying for two years."

"I'm sorry," I say, "who are you?"

He steps out from the corner and I see that he is about sixteen. He is tall with dark hair, green eyes, and very defined muscles.

"I am Ethan, son of Emerald."
