Chapter 14

I woke up with my mouth open and drool coming down from it. I coughed when I choked on my own spit. Wow, I'm so ladylike.

I got up, almost tripping over my feet. I went to my bathroom and saw a big bruise on the left side of my cheek. I poked it gently and I winced.

Ouch..

I brushed my teeth and hair. I washed my face with cold water to wake me up and went to my room when I was done. I smiled at the event last night. It was so amazing. I can't believe it happened.

I checked my phone to see if there was any text messages. One from Luke, one from Angelina and one from Eva.

I picked Luke's first.

To: Me
From: Lukie

Good morning love. x Can't wait to see you again today.

I replied back.

To: Lukie
From: Eva

Morning. x Can't wait to see you too.

Oh wait. Shit.

I forgot to tell my mom.

I raced downstairs to see my mom sitting at the couch, watching TV.

"Hey mom" I greeted her.

She smiled at me and said hi.

"So.. I was wondering if I could invite Luke, Calum, and Angelina over?" I asked her.

"Yeah sure" she accepted. "As long they don't break anything".

I chuckled and she laughed with me.

"Also, I'm going out with Liz again today so I won't be home until late" she assured me.

I nodded and headed upstairs to get ready.

I changed into this black sweater, black skinny jeans, and to top it all off, a choker. I did a tiny amount of makeup. Similar to yesterday's except no concealer.

I smiled at my outfit choice and looked at my phone.

9:30.

I still had time left and I have to reply to Angelina's and Eva's text.

From: Angie bear

Okay, so I'm coming at your house at 12?

To: Angie bear
From: Me

Yep and bring food. And a blanket.

I hit send and went to Eva's message.

From: Eva

Okay, we didn't do it but, he told he has slept with a lot of girls. He told me that I should get checked out since he might have herpes. Even though we didn't really do anything except for make out.

I sighed in relief. Poor Eva.. But what's going on with her? I'm super worried about her. I typed back.

To: Eva
From: Me

Good. Get checked for safety reasons. Good luck to you boo. x

I turned off my phone and had nothing else to do.

I decided to go on Tumblr and YouTube.

I went online and saw a trend trending. I furrowed my eyebrows and clicked on it.

It read 'Luke with a new girl?'.

Oh shit.

Many pictures of us are us holding hands and my breath caught in my throat.

They didn't see my face but, I saw all the comments.

'Oh my God!! Ew!!'

' Who's this bitch? Luke is mine!!'

' This is gross!! I'm prettier than her and I can't even see her face!!'

I wanted to cry.

How did they even get those pictures?!

I felt like no one was watching us!! I want to crawl up into a ball and cry. What did I do to deserve this? A few tears slipped out of my eyes, but I quickly wiped them away.

You have to be strong. Who cares about the haters? They're stupid.

But I felt like that didn't help.

The door bell rang and I raced downstairs to go get it. My mom already left with Liz. For some reason, Liz gave me a weird look. The kind of look where she knows that I went on a date with Luke.

I opened the door and smiled. I told Angelina to come in and I shut the door behind her. Her arms were full of snacks and blankets. My eyes widened.

"You didn't have to bring that much" I chuckled.

She shrugged and we both sat at the couch. She released all the stuff and it was all on the floor.

"So, what's the surprise?"she asked.

"Just wait" I smirked. "But um, I need to tell you something".

She gave me a quick-nod and I told her about the trend thing on Tumblr, Instagram, and Twitter.

She gasped and hugged me.

"Don't let those haters get to you!!" She pouted. "They're just jealous cause' you have a guy like Luke".

I smiled. I'm lucky to have Angelina by my side. If I said this to Eva, I think she wouldn't care. She would probably say 'they're stupid' and change the topic real quick.

We soon heard a door bell ring and she gave me a confused look.

"You're surprise is here".

We opened the door and she almost fainted. There stood Calum Hood and Luke Hemmings.

She squeezed my arms and squealed.

"Hey guys" I greeted them. Calum gave me a huge hug that lasted forever.

They both said 'hey' and I let them in.

"Oh and this Angelina" I introduced them. "Which Luke already knows about her".

Calum widened his eyes and blushed.

Ooh. This is going to work out so well.

"Go make yourself comfortable while I get more snacks" I informed them.

I pulled Calum back.

"Oh, and Angelina is a Calum girl" I whispered in his ear.

He looked at me and blushed. I winked at him and headed to the kitchen.

I gathered all the snacks and went to the couch. I put all the snacks on the floor. We had Cheetos, Doritos, gummy worms, Vegemite, and all the goods.

"Hey Flora? Can I talk to you for a second?" Angelina asked. I nodded and she pulled me towards the kitchen.

"This is my surprise?" She folded her arms.

"Yes...?"

Did she not like her surprise?

"I. Love. It." She squealed. She hugged me so tight that I couldn't breathe.

She thanked me so many times that I lost count at 100.

We went back to the living room, calm and cool. She sat next to Calum and he blushed. He smiled at her and she looked at me wide-eyed. I gave her a thumbs up and I sat next to Luke.

Today is going to be a great day.
