Chapter 34

"Can't believe you guys are dating" Liz awed. "It's about time!"

"Mom.."

"I knew you guys will be a perfect couple!!" She gushed.

I smiled at her and I awkwardly ate my fried fish, which was delicious. Everything made by Liz is amazing.

"Luke always talked about how much he thinks you're so beautiful, how nice you are, and how much he lo-"

"Mom!" Luke whispered loudly to Liz.

I giggled and he did a hand-movement to his neck, saying to cut that off. She rolled her eyes.

"So.. How are you, Flora?"

"I'm good. How about you?" I asked Liz.

"Good, now that my little boy is home" he punched Luke's cheek and he seemed to get really annoyed.

I laughed and that's how the whole dinner went. Talking about what is going on right now, my family, and some other irrelevant stuff.

I finished my plate and put it in the sink. I asked Liz if she needed any help with cleaning the dishes, but she insisted that I get to spend time with Luke. I smiled and went to the living room, where Luke sat and watched Adventure Time.

"That was a funny dinner" I said, plopping down next to him.

He looked at me, taking his eyes off the TV screen. He sighed and put his head on his hands.

"My mom is so embarrassing" he moaned.

I laughed and put an arm around him.

"I think it's cute" I comforted him.

He rolled his eyes and wrapped his arms around me. I put his head on his shoulder and smiled.

For once, I was happy in my life. I'm away from school drama, I have great friends, except for.. her, and I am reunited with my best friend, who is now my boyfriend.

As we watched as Finn and Jame ran down the ice kingdom, trying to save Princess Bubblegum, my phone rang.

I had a confused look and held the phone to my ear.

"Hello?"

"FLORA!! I HAVE SOMETHING TO TELL YOU!!" A familiar voice shouted.

"Angelina!! Calm your tits!!" I got up and mouthed 'that I would be right back' to Luke, which he nodded in response. I went to the bathroom and locked the door behind me.

"I CAN'T!!" She screamed, almost making me deaf. "I'M LEGIT FREAKING OUT!! FREAKING OUT MORE THAN ASHTON'S HAIRCUT!!"

Whoah. She must be really freaked out.

"What is it?" I asked.

"CALUM ASKED ME TO MEET HIS PARENTS"

Hold up.

"But.. You guys are not dating."

"I KNOW!!"

"THEN WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?!" I yelled back.

"I DON'T KNOW!!" She shouted in my ear. "I DIDN'T SAY YES YET. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO!!"

Wow. They're not even dating and they literally just met a few days ago. Though, they would be a very cute couple and I ship it so much.
