Chapter 4

I walked out and saw Luke, picking up bags and putting it on the porch. Oh, I forgot to tell you that Luke lives right next to me. That's one of the main reasons we became friends because our parents wanted us to hang out with each other. I didn't like it at first because he was a boy but, I don't mind it anymore.

I stared at him and he soon notices me.

"Flora?" He shouted.

"Luke!!" I shouted, while grinning.

He smiled and held out his arms. He walked closer to me and I ran up to him. I jumped on him, making him almost falling over. I wrapped my arms around his neck and wrapped my legs around his waist. I hugged him tightly and started to cry into his shoulder. He hugged me back and started rubbing my back like he used to do whenever we hugged. I could feel his warmth around me, it felt nice. Since it was cold out, he made me warmer. 

"I've missed you so much" he whispered in my hair.

"Me too" I said between sniffles.

I felt a wetness on my neck a bit and realized he was crying. We soon let go and smiled. I wiped my tears.

"How are you, breadstick?" I asked, grinning.

"I'm fine, flour" he said, smiling.

I smiled at the nickname he gave me when we were 12. We spoke for an hour before he had to go back to his home to unpack. I asked him if he needed anything, he will call me. He nodded and laughed. I always loved his laugh. It was perfect. We both waved goodbye and both headed inside our homes.

I got inside and still felt the butterflies in my stomach. My face was hot and I couldn't stop smiling from what just happened. I grabbed my phone and decided to call Eva what happened.

After 3 rings, she picked up.

"DID YOU SEE THEM?!" She shouted in my ear.

"Ow.. Jeez calm down" I groaned.

"Sorry.. So did you see them?" She asked nicer and more quieter.

I told her what happened and she freaked out like when she found out that 5SOS released their new music video 'She's kinda hot'.

"Eeeekk!!" She shrieked.

I rolled my eyes at her.

"Other than that, want to come to my house?" I asked.

My parents don't mind having people over. Just not more than 3 people.

"Sure! We might see Luke!!!" She shouted, again.

Jeez, does this woman ever calm her nerves?

"Well, he does live right next to me so.." I said.

We both laughed and she agreed to come over in an hour.

An hour later, Eva came to my house in black leggings and big, loose blue sweater. Her hair was wrapped in a messy bun and she wore a choker as in an accessory. 

"Jeez!! It's cold out there" she shivered. 

She ran quickly in the house and took off her black combat boots. 

"I know. When I was out there, I was freezing my butt off" I said, closing the door behind her.

"Do you want some hot chocolate?" I asked. 

She nodded her head and I headed to the kitchen to make her and I one. 

"How come you didn't bring your jacket?" I asked in concern.

"I forgot" she replied, while walking to the kitchen.

I said 'ahh' and returned to the hot chocolate making. While I was making hot chocolate, we talked about random things like, cheese butts or whatever is on our minds. That's the type of relationship we have. People might think it's weird but, people who say that hasn't had a real friend.  A real friend will talk about weird things and they will accept it. 

We took our hot chocolates to the couch and decided to watch a movie. We went through some movies that I had and saw 'Mean Girls'. We both LOVE this movie. She nodded when I showed her and we put it on. I went to the kitchen to see if we had any popcorn and to my luck, we didn't. I looked around more and saw a bag of chips and gummy worms. I took them with me and walked to the couch. I sat them down between us and plopped myself on the couch, wrapping a warm, fluffy blanket around me. 

In the middle of watching the movie, the door bell rang. 

"I'll get it" I said, standing up and walking to the door.

I opened it and saw Luke. I opened my mouth and he was staring at me. He laughed and I blinked a few times. 

"Flora!! Who's at the door? Tell them to eat shit somewhere else!! This is the part when Regina gets fat!" Eva shouted. 

I laughed, nervously and he laughed. Once Luke laughed, Eva went straight to the door and she started screaming. I blushed from embarrassment. 

Oh god.

"OH MY GOD!! LUKE ROBERT HEMMINGS!! SWEET JESUS!! YOU'RE MORE BEAUTIFUL IN PERSON!! OH MY GOD" she shouted, freaking out and almost crying.

I shushed her but, she didn't listen. 

"Um.. Thank you" he replied, also laughing nervously.

She ran up to him to hug him and started taking selfies with him. I mouthed a 'sorry' to him and he just laughed and smiled. He hugged her back and she squealed. 

When I finally pulled her off of Luke, I hugged him, feeling his warmth again and hearing his heart beat in his chest. I shooed Eva away and she walked back to couch to continue to watch the movie. 

"What are you doing here? Don't you have jet lag or something?" I asked, obviously feeling really worried about him. 

"Well, I got most of my sleeping on the plane and since I have nothing else to do at home, I decided to come your house but, I see that you have company" he awkwardly said.

"No, stay. We would love having you here and watch a movie with us. And I will promise Eva to not shout and act like an obsessed fan around you." I said, pulling his arm so he would stay. 

He nodded and grinned like a kid and pulled him to the couch. He was about to sit at the edge but then, Eva pulled him down between her and I.

Well, this is going to be a long day.
