Alyss Granger: First Year

CHAPTER 1

I do not own any of the original Harry Potter characters or Hogwarts. They belong to J.K. Rowling. I just want to add to the magic. So I hope you enjoy it!

What? Hermione thought. This is impossible! I can't have a sister! I only sent them to Australia for a year! They were under a spell. I can't believe it. But I didn’t specifically say any children so they still wanted one child. But why me?

"I know it seems impossible. But when you put that memory charm on us we didn't know about you and we just wanted one child so we had Alyss. I almost had her middle name be Jean. Then it would be the same as yours. Instead I named her after my mother." Hermione's mother, Jean said. Hermione was shocked but then again Grandmother Carole was dead…

"Is she a witch?" Hermione asked.

"I don't know." She answered slowly.

But Alyss Carole Granger was.

Ten years later.

Alyss PoV

I was so excited. My sister, Hermione, had told me she was a witch earlier that week. And just today at my school I had had to go and get a pencil from my locker. And I didn't have one. I walked back to class and discovered my desk was full of them. It was one thing not having then another carrying them all back to my locker.

"Hermione!" I screeched at my cell phone. Having my bushy brown hair, that was a replica of Hermione's, fan out. I was pretty much exactly like Hermione except my eyes. They are blue.

"Alyss! Calm down what?" She answered calmly. My mother told me she wasn't happy to discover a sister but now she adored me.

"I’m a witch!" I shouted. And told her the whole story.

"Just wait. You are going to have so much fun at Hogwarts." She said happily.
