CHAPTER 15

Teddy’s PoV

Matt approached us and I saw Alyss run inside.

“Alyss is really upset.” He informed us. “And I think it’s me and Teddy.”

My head snapped up. “What’d you do?” I said confused. I had long since calmed down.

“I made a joke. Don’t you bite my head off too,” he said.

“I need to apologize to her.” I said.

“No! Teddy you’ll just make her even madder!” Tom said.

I froze and turned slowly. Tom looked scared. “Do you always have to be so right?” I said and we laughed. I made him scared for that?

Alyss PoV

I looked out the window to see them laughing. They didn’t care! I was in here sobbing and they just laughed! I had actually thought they were my friends! Well, Tom was but not the others! And I had to go to lunch now.

I trudged down the stairs and made it to the Great Hall before them I sat at the end of the table. I was going to ignore them. See how they like it.

Teddy’s PoV

We walked in the Great Hall. We were all worried about Alyss and had been discussing what to do in the boys’ dorms. But there she was sitting there.

“Looks like Alyss is okay.” I said.

“Teddy, look at her she didn’t look for us she just sat down. She is not okay!” Tom said. He was right basically all the time! But Alyss was right more.

We all sat down. Tom was next to Alyss, Matt was across from her, and I was next to Matt.

“We’re really sorry, Alyss.” I said.

She ignored me! Why did she do that?

“Alyss?” Tom tried.

“Yes.” She answered him normally.

“Why did you ignore Teddy?” Matt said. But she ignored him? Why not Tom but Matt and me?

“Why did you ignore Teddy?” Tom repeated.

“I’m not answering any questions relating to them.” She said.

“What is bloody wrong with her?” I muttered.

“Alyss, can you tell me why you’re upset?” Tom tried yet again but he had about as much chance as me not getting detention ever again.

“You know.” She said and that doesn’t count as an answer.

“Alyss, can you be a bit more specific?” He tried.

“Those two are just fine without me. And Ted wouldn’t want a friend like me.” She said and I saw comprehension dawn on Tom’s face. Matt and I however were completely lost.

“Tom explain.” I said slowly.

“When you two laughed out side. Alyss thought you were just fine and not caring about her. As for the friend comment, did you by any chance call her m- m- you know what.” Tom said.

“I did.” I muttered.

Matt and Tom gasped. Matt looked me, “You cannot say anything like that to her!” he roared. “And Alyss we were laughing because Teddy asked me why I always had to be right and we laughed. That was it.”

Alyss looked at him, “Really?” Matt nodded and she just said, “Then I forgive you!”

“Am I included in that?” I asked hopefully, but as usual today, she ignored me.

Matt nudged me in the ribs, “You know you haven’t apologized.”

“Oh, yeah, sorry Alyss.” And guess what? I was ignored!
