Alyss Granger: First Year

Alyss was Always Odd

The next morning I was quite aware this was NOT a dream and that I had been kidnapped.

"Ah, you won't remember it but we had a lovely chat last night. I modified your memory. If you could than what's my name?" a cloaked figure asked slyly.

"Rumplestiltskin." I muttered.

"Pardon?" he was clearly confused.

"Muggle story." l supplied.

"Shut your muggle nonsense, Mudblood."

"My name is Erin." I lied. I could pretend to be Erin Zabini!

"No. No. That's not what you said last night. Alice." He said. Showing me a pile of notes.

I smiled. "Alyss. A-L-Y-S-S." I spelled. Oops. Should not have said that. I was starting to act like Hagrid. OR there was Veritraserum left over.

He smiled as my shock showed. He took a small bottle of clear liquid out of his pocket. "Do you know what this is?"

"Veritaserum." I breathed. He nodded and approached me. It was forced down my throat.

"Full name." he said testingly.

"Alyss Carole Granger."

"How do you spell your middle name?"

"C-A-R-O-L-E."

That was all I remember. He must have modified my memory again.

Teddy's PoV

"She's gone!" I bellowed. "She didn't come down from her dorm. Gabrielle checked! She didn't see Alyss!"

Hermione burst into the headmistress' room. "I had to give you this and I heard. What happened?!"

"She's gone. Not sick. She didn't even finish her homework!"

Hermione sucked in a breath as Tom entered. "Not in the Hospital Wing." he said shortly. In true Tom way.

"She wouldn't just disappear."

Hermione looked right at McGonagall. "Alyss doesn't disappear. Nor did Harry. Ever."

"Harry did do things like that."

"Yes. But he took me and Ron! Alyss would take Teddy at least!"

"Hermione, please do not yell." McGonagall said calmly.

"She's my sister!"

"Yes, Hermione I know."

"Want me to call my mum and dad? Ask them if Alyss goes missing. She didn't even when she was 3. She hated Hide-and-Seek. Or Harry? He did just was gone but he took me and Ron! Alyss would at least bring Teddy. And Teddy would take Alyss. And look Teddy's here!"

"'Mione?" Said an unmistakable voice. Ron was better. Harry followed him in and Ginny was next. "What's wrong?"

At that Hermione really lost it.  "Alyss is gone and Minerva thinks she just took a vacation!"

"Hermione. Come." Ginny ordered.

"Alyss is needs helps!" Hermione said and my eyes widend. Did Hermione just make a grammatical error?

"'Mione? Go with Ginny. You just said 'helps.'" Ron said.

Hermione glared at him but went. She then turned to me. I cast a starled look at Ginny. "Continue my bit, Teddy."

"She's probably fine." McGonagall said when Hermione and Ginny were gone.

It was now that Dumbledore spoke up. "If you remember, during an emergency meeting Hermione and Ron brought Victoire, Alyss, and Teddy. Victoire and Teddy played Hide-and-Seek, tag and statues. Alyss didn't play. They were 7 and Alyss was reading. Alyss is different, Minerva, you must remember. Trelawney."

"Ah, you really believe it's her?"

"Yes, I do."

"There's something I need to tell you lot, Mr. Ester, Hermione and Teddy. Are the other two involved?"

"Were Ron and Hermione? Tell them when we find Alyss." Dumbledore said. Hermione was even confused by Dumbledore. I was utterly lost.
