CHAPTER 19
I felt like beaming with happiness when she said that. “Hey Alyss, I say we pull a huge prank on Professor Malfoy, very planned!” I said.
Alyss’ PoV
I nearly smacked myself. Already he was going there.
“I’m just going to pretend I never heard that.” Hermione said then walked away.
“Teddy, I will help you plan for this but I am not partaking in it.” I said hoping he didn’t badger me. I hated badgering.
“I wasn’t planning to either; I want to trick Matt and Tom into doing it.” He said and I groaned. “What?”
“Don’t you already have too many detentions?” I tried hoping her would help. Which of course, knowing Teddy, it wouldn’t.
“Nah, Only a week of them.” He decided.
“When you fail all of your OWLs then don’t come to me, it’s not my fault.”
“Awe, you know I will and we’re only in first year so there’s no need to panic about that.”
“What about the exams this year?”
“You know I’ll pass. I’m just so smart!” A simple glare silenced him.
“I think we should go tell Matt and Tom the news!” I stated before he could go off on something else.
“Right you are!” I smiled weakly. He was just so corny sometimes!
We walked into the great hall and Matt and Tom looked at us weirdly as did all the girls who had use the ‘Mudblood’ incident for gossip. ‘Metamorphmagus Teddy Lupin called his best friend Alyss GRANGER a Mudblood!’ It had been circulating for a day like crazy and was driving me crazy. ‘Granger is still not talking to Lupin!’ It was in the school newspaper that had been started after the war by some Creevey. It had been over that for an annoying DAY. I had gotten my roommates to get me the paper and I was MAD.
SNAP! A picture of me and Teddy walking in together was sure to be in the next issue. Front page because we had famous relatives!
“You aren’t going to kill her are you?” Teddy said hopefully.
Let’s just say that Iris Johnson was the paper’s biggest writer and the second I came to school we had a, interesting, encounter.
~Flashback~
“Alyss Granger!” a girl shouted catching up to me as I made my way to the Great Hall for breakfast.
“Yeah?”
“I’m Iris Johnson. 6th year, Ravenclaw, I run the school paper and write most of the articles. I was wondering if I could do an interview with you.”
“No.”
“Please! It would be so good!”
“No.” I repeated.
“Can you at least join the paper?” she tried.
“Maybe later, I’m trying to focus on my way around the school.”
“I can help! Along with all the other members!” she was a hopeful bugger.
“I’ve already answered that question. And I am now resisting my urge to petrify you.” I smiled sweetly and she looked taken aback.
~End~
“No. I have a better idea. Hey! Iris!”
She came over looking extremely pleased.
“I would like to write a bit for the paper. But I can quit right?”
“Of course!” she walked away looking extremely pleased with herself. I smirked.
“Is it good or do I not want to know?” Teddy asked.
“Oh you’ll see if you look in the paper tomorrow.” I smirked.
Tom and Matt rushed up. “Hey what happened?” Matt asked.
“We made up. Now I have to write that article.” I said and walked back to the table.
Teddy’s PoV
“What article? Did Johnson actually persuade her to join the paper?” Tom said.
“No, she wanted to get back at Iris so she joined. I don’t think it’ll be good as we know Iris can’t say no to an article.” I said. As a rule Iris couldn’t decline an article. And Alyss knew that.

Yes, I know it isn't a good chapter, but I think it's necessary for the next chapter. Plus, I feel guilty about not updating so 2 in one night! And possibly 3....
