Alyss' PoV

He stepped back from me and I tried to follow him and stay near the warmth and safety of his snake patronus. He smiled and flicked his wand and I was pushed back by his sheild charm.

"Can you give me my wand so I can have a chance?" I begged.

"No, I don't think I want you to have a chance even the slimest one."

"But I want her too." Teddy said.

"Teddy! I said to be quiet!" Hermione huffed.

"Just make the patronus." Tom muttered.

"That's the only spell she's ever had trouble with." I said.

"That puts a bit of a damper on things." Matt said.

I rolled my eyes, "You think? Why is there only you four? Since you obviously knew I was here why not have Harry, Ron or Ginny. Honestly."

"Techinically we aren't supposed to be here. We needed to help you but there's no time, we need to go before the dementors get here." Tom said, quite talkative he was being.

"Hermione please try." Matt said. Teddy nodded vigorusly. Later I would ask why Tom was talking and Teddy was being silent but now we needed to run and soon.

"Too late, I'll be going now, unfortunatly they are here and you're Golden Trio mudblood can't cast a patronus." Vol said. And he apparated.

"Harry won't get here in time." Teddy said. I could tell the dementor had come close enough to him by now and soon Alyss felt it too. It was her first night with Vol.

"It's my fault. Alyss, I'm sorry. We waited to long-" Hermione began but Tom interupted.

"Hermione Granger you stop right now and apparate. To the ministry. Get some help and come back. Since it's unsafe to apparate more than 2 humans. Teddy, give Alyss your wand and get out with Matt. Alyss and I would have the most chance with the spells. Don't argue and leave."

Hermione understood and Matt came to join her and she had to grab Teddy for him not to do anything. And at the last second he threw his wand and I caught it.

"Know any spells?" I asked.

"I know the theory about the patronus charm. Expecto Patronum and focus on a happy memory. Strong memory. But that's all I know."

"Excellent. I could have said just as much." I muttered and started casting the spell. "We have to try to run now. We can't get the spell." I said a bit later.

A horse burst through the door. Who had a horse paronus? I groaned. "No idea who?" Tom asked.

"No idea. RUN!" I said and wrenched open the door and found that dementors lurked outside it. I huridly closed it. "The Dark Wizard or the dementors?" I said sighing. We were going to lose something, our lives or our souls.

"I fancy my soul more. Dark Wizards." He said. That's when both the doors banged open and the dementors and a large group of wizards came in.

"Petrificus Totalus!" We yelled at the same time.

"I'm sure we can talk about this rationally."

Since I have a terrible posting schedule I want to make it clear that if you ask me to update a story I will be more likely to do so than if you just wait. I start feeling really guilty and then I just post a chapter or more in a week and as for right now I usually do a chapter a week.
