Chapter 9

Your POV

"What happened next?" i asked "He talked to me and i tried ignoring him but he begged...so i let him explain" i furrowed my eyebrows "But that happened years ago and you moved on" she nodded "Yeah i have, i just let him explain" she said i nodded "What's bothering you?" she gulped "He kissed me" she said quietly i frown and look away from her. "But i pushed him away, i told him i don't want to be in relationships anymore and i promised myself that" she said i nodded and covered myself with the towel because the wind is hitting us and it's cold. "Why aren't you gonna swim?" she asked looking at me i shake my head "I'm not in the mood" she looked at me raising an eyebrow i sigh "don't lie, you know i hate people lying to me" i nodded "I'm sorry, i'm just insecure" i said "Why?" i shrug "i'm not really comfortable showing so much skin to people" i said she nodded and stood up and i saw her already in her bikini.

"Come you don't have to be insecure" she said i smile and got her hand "you're really beautiful okay? don't be insecure of your body, your body is amazing" i sighed "It's just i don't normally wear bikinis" i said shyly she smiled "Let's change that then...from now on you have to wear bikinis if you swim with us okay?" i sighed and shrug she cupped my cheeks "Please for me" i blushed in her hands so i bow my head. "Okay" i mumble she smiled and hugged me "You're beautiful" she whispered and then i felt her take the towel off my body and i cover myself but she got my hands "No hiding anymore" she said and pulled me to the water. "Finally! you two took long" Dinah said with Ally on her shoulders Camila smiled at me but it turned to a smirk once she saw Lauren's hands on my waist, shit i didn't even noticed that. I blushed and look away from them but when it's gone i look back to them "Alright, wanna join us?" Camila asked i look over to Lauren and she smiled "Do you want to?" i shrug "who's gonna be carried?" i asked "you" she said chuckling.

"No no no... i'm heavy" she chuckled "Non-sense" she said and went under suddenly i was lifted up making me squeal and held into Lauren's shoulders tight "no Lauren..." she laughed and she held my hands to steady me. "I can't carry Mani! i'm too small!" Camila whine Normani rolled her eyes "fine, and i'll carry you then" Camila smiled and she got lifted up as well. I blushed as Lauren intertwine our fingers, Ally saw us and i blushed even more "Oooh...." she then started telling stuff to Dinah's ear making them both smirk. "Sorry ladies but you both have to get your hair wet first" Dinah said before pushing us and i fell down and i heard them laughing, i got up and wipe my eyes "Oh it stings" i said wiping my eyes again "Oh course it's the beach" i heard Lauren say as wrap an arm around my waist i blushed AGAIN and covered my face. "Come on get back up" she said and i got back on her shoulders, then we began the game Dinah and Ally attacked Camila and Normani first as Lauren and i chill for a sec.

Then Camila and Normani fell making us laugh, "Now your turn" Dinah said i gulped and began pushing Ally we almost lost our balance but Lauren managed to get back up on her feet, minutes later Ally and Dinah pushed us hard making Lauren and i fall. I got up and wipe my eyes "ugh stings" i groaned Lauren laughed and hugged me, "it's alright" she said planting a kiss on my forehead making me smile. Hours later we were on our way back home, I laid my head on Lauren's shoulder and she wrapped her arms around me and we both fell asleep inside the mini van.

When i woke up, we arrived back and i noticed we're in Lauren's house, not that i don't want it here but why? anyway, the girs dragged me upstairs to her room "Alright we're doing something fun" Ally said Lauren laid down on her bed and sighed. "What is it?" she asked "We're gonna turn Y/N like you" she looked up and raised an eyebrow "Like me?" they nodded "yeah we're gonna make her try your clothes and try copying your style" she chuckled "alright" and she laid back down. The girls looked at me and smirked and i shrug "alright let's start with the make up" Dinah said "I'm gonna do the hair" Normani said "I'll choose the outfit" Ally said "I'll choose the shoes" Camila said i sighed and just stayed still as Dinah applied make up to my face. An hour later Dinah made me close my eyes for the eye liner so i did, suddenly i heard them squeal making me open my eyes a bit "Close them!" i then close them again. Normani is still doing my hair with the help of Ally and Camila helping Dinah.

"Am i done yet?" i asked "Almost" they said i sighed and shrug "and.........we're done" i open my eyes and look at them and their jaws dropped "Girl you look smoking hot" Camila said "Quick change into this" she said pushing me to the bathroom. I then looked at Lauren's clothes, why did they pick the crop top that showed my tummy? i pouted and wore them i then look at myself in the mirror looking at my reflection confused "Who are you?" i joked i smile and look at my face and hair "The girls did a great job" i said and then i exited the bathroom. "Yus girl!" Dinah squeal i smiled and sat down next to a sleeping Lauren she was asleep which is so cute, she was snoring a little still cute. "LAUREN!" they girls shouted making her wake up and jump "What?!" she then looked at me and her jaw dropped suddenly i saw her cheeks turn pink? is she blushing? "Woah...." i giggle "What do i look like?" i asked standing up. Her eyes went up and down my body, i then saw her gulped "Really like me" i smile and hug her "Dude, the girls did good" she said looking at my face i blush and hid my face.

"You look so hot in my style, sorry i just had to say that" she said looking at me again i smile "My clothes fits perfectly on you" she said looking at her clothes i giggle she smiled and hugged me "You're so pretty" she said in a baby voice. "She is huh Laur?" Camila smirked i glare at her "yup definitely" she said i sigh "Thanks now, can i go back to my old style?" i ask they pouted "Picture first!" i nodded and Lauren made me sit on her lap and the girls came to us and smiled "Posting this in Instagram" Dinah said i smile and finally took of the make up and went back to my clothes.

I walk back to Lauren's room and cuddled up to Lauren as we all watch a movie in her room, she wrapped her arms around me and kiss my head and i sighed "are you tired?" she asked quietly i nodded and bury my face to her neck. "Go to sleep" she said softly i smile and peck her cheek and i closed my eyes.

Lauren's POV

As Y/N sleeps in my arms i could see the girls closing their eyes as well, i sighed and look down to Y/N. I caress her cheek with my thumb and i just stared at her face, this is just being friendly right? i'm not in love with her because i promised myself i won't fall in love with someone ever again. But some parts in me saying that i want her, that she makes me feel all jumpy. It's different when I was with Brad and Luis and it felt different with Y/N, maybe it's the gender? Or the way we hang out? I don't know it's just so much different with Y/N. But will she hurt me if I broke my promise to myself? I don't even know if she likes me. Her face doesn't show but her actions does, I sighed love is so complicated! This is why I don't do relationships anymore it's complicated. I bit my lip and tuck a strand of hair behind her ear and look at her face.....she's so beautiful.....doesn't mean i like her! but still.....she's so beautiful. She looks so angelic, i smile down at her and kissed her forehead gently. Okay i can like her but i can't love her. Let's just say it like that. I like her but i don't love her.

I'm really weird sometimes i know, but yeah let's just say it like that i like her more than anyone. I felt her stir making me look down at her she made a cute little noise and bury her face to my neck again, i felt her sigh and suddenly she fell asleep again. I chuckled and kissed her cheek, she's so adorable. I smile at her for a while and then i look around seeing Camila look at me, i blushed.....well since she saw me kiss Y/N's cheek! She was smiling at us "Lauren i don't understand why you don't want to be in a relationship anymore" she said quietly i sigh "I told you my past Camz, i don't want to get hurt again" i said frowning "You're always going to the negative side, think about the positive ones. You know when you found someone you love imagine you'll marry him or her, you'll have kids, have a happy life with your partner and grow old together. Love isn't all about negative things Lauren there are positive ones as well, like the feeling how you kiss your partner maybe butterflies? the feeling of your partner's touch.....just imagine those things Lauren" she said smiling at me. I sighed and look back to Y/N and smiled at her as she sleeps.
