Chapter 28

Lauren's POV

When Destiny left i walk back to my art room and decided to sketch, but as i find my new big sketch pad i saw the painting i did with Y/N i smiled and held it "This was our work together" i whispered i smile and hung it on my wall. I then got a new sketch pad and placed it in the stand, i then saw the drawings i did before when i was thinking of her. I smile at the drawings, one was her eyes, one was her lips, one was an intertwined hands which was mine and hers, and her hair. I then started sketching it on my big sketch pad, i wrote short messages in each one of them and i colored it with my color pencils. Of course her eyes are her eye color which was Y/E/C and her hair Y/H/C and her lips then our intertwined hands. I smiled and wrote a letter and started designing the sides and when i was done i got a portfolio folder and put them on inside, i got a sharpie and wrote her name on it and then i went downstairs. I cannot believe i bought this before but i did, i got one pack of gummy worms and one pack of gummy bears and went back to my art room and placed it inside a small bag. I walk to my room and got snickers and also put it on the bag, i smile and closed the door when i was done i then went to my room and fall asleep.

Next morning i was in front of her locker and it's actually 3 minutes until first period but lucky me i had free period first so i just waited for her, i then saw her running to her locker and i smile at her but she ignored me. "Lauren please move i'm gonna be late to Spanish please?" she said very fast i moved away and she got her books and she slammed her locker shut then started running away but i got her arm "No Lauren please i need to go, there is literally two minutes" she said freaking out. I smile "I just want to give you this" i said giving her the small bag and the portfolio "Lauren i have no time for this...can this wait?" i shake my head "Please?" she sighed and got it. "Okay thank you but i have to go now" she said hurriedly i smile and pull her to a kiss, she squeal and tried pushing me but i didn't budge "Lauren" she mumble we then heard the late bell rang she groaned and i chuckle and finally let her go. Her face was so red and was breathing heavily "Dammit Jauregui!" she groaned and i watch her ran to her classroom i smiled like an idiot and skipped to the hallways happily.

Your POV

When i got to Spanish people stared at me "I'm sorry i'm late i woke up late" the teacher sighed "Last warning Y/L/N" i nodded and sat next to Camila at the back, "what's that?" she asked "I don't really know, Lauren gave it to me when i was in a hurry" i said sighing. "Lauren?" i nodded "Yeah Jauregui" she smiled "open it" i sighed "Okay" and opened the portfolio and it was full of her sketches i was so confused. "What the fuck are these?" i said quietly i took one out and it was a pair of eyes that has my eye color, the sketch was so beautiful she's really talented! I then saw a short message on the bottom it said ' This is a sketch of your eyes, the reason why i drew this is because i love staring into them. They made me feel at home, and like i told you before your eyes a beautiful.' Psshhh....yeah right, i then showed Camila that as i get another one out and it's a sketch of holding hands i look at the short message and it says 'This is a sketch of our intertwined hands, i drew this because i love holding your hand everyday. It gives me butterflies and sparks every time our hands touch.' i blush and cleared my throat.

I then gave Camila that one and got another paper which was hair, it looked like mine so this is probably about me too? i read the short message again 'This is a sketch of your hair, i don't know why i drew it. It just smells so good every time we hug or if we cuddle. That's the reason i love hugging you oh also because i love your arms around me' i chuckled and gave Camila that one. I then got another one which was lips, i bit my lip and read the short message 'This is a sketch of your lips, i drew this because i realized that when i kissed you the first time i felt like melting. I felt butterflies in my stomach and your lips were so addicting.' Well that explains why she kissed me this morning. I then gave Camila that one. I then saw a letter that was fold up beautifully i opened it and started reading it.

I'm really sorry if i had hurt you before, i didn't realize that i was hurting you now i understand why you had that sad/ hurt face it's because of Destiny. Now i understand why you always ignore me when i was with Destiny too, i can't believe i was that oblivious it's because maybe i was too blind? Let me say this, Y/N i'm not a perfect person so i'm sorry if i had been oblivious but now i finally opened my eyes. Thank you for your words yesterday it made me realize things, now here i am, i broke my walls for you, just for you. It's because i may be in love with you too, now i know why i always admire you or always get jealous and everything is because i'm in love with you. I'm so sorry for hurting you Y/N, you don't deserve being heart broken. I wish i could put all the pieces back together if you would let me, it depends on you if you would still want me in your life. I promise that i will put all the pieces back together and i will take care of it, like it was a very expensive beautiful glass i would not drop it or smash it. I would hold it carefully, because i don't want you to get hurt again i don't want it to be shattered. Y/N i really am in love with you i just realized this tonight, and i wish we could start over? Without any distractions like Destiny. I hope you talk to me tomorrow, cause i've been dying to hear your voice again and i've been craving for your lips. :) Oh and please do not show this to anyone else. I'm in love with you too.

I closed the letter and smiled, she's in love with me....Lauren's in love with me....holy shit! Lauren's in love with me!! She broke her walls down for me!! OH SHIT!! I smiled happily and put the letter back to the portfolio and got her sketches and put it all back to the portfolio. "Hey i didn't get to see the last one" Camila said pouting i smirk "You're not allowed to" i said she pouted "Why not?" she asked "Lauren said not to show anyone" she groaned "Pleaaaase??" she whine "No" she glare at me "you have to ask permission from her first" she groaned loudly making the teacher look at us. "Is everything alright Ms Cabello?" the teacher asked "Urgh YES i'm fine! i'm SOOO fine!" she said sarcastically i laughed and the teacher looked at her confused and i laugh at Camila. I got the small bag and opened it i smiled when i saw the inside, "What is it?" she asked i chuckle "Gummy bears and Gummy worms and Snickers" she chuckle "Why?" she asked "She knew i love these" she smile "Aw, i didn't know Lauren can be so romantic" i giggle and opened one.

As lunch came we walked to the table and saw Destiny wasn't there....hmm wonder why? suddenly i lock eyes with Lauren she looked shy "Can i talk to you?" i told her she nodded and we walk outside. "I read your letter" i said looking at her she gulped and nodded "Are you really in love with me?" i ask her quietly she nodded "Yes i am in love with you Y/N" she said smiling slightly. I nodded "Please let me fix your broken heart" she plead i smile at her "I feel really bad..." i sigh and peck her lips which took her by surprise. "I forgive you" i mumble she blushed and finally wrapped her arms around me "Thank you" i nodded and pull her down so i could kiss her again "so addicting" she mumble i giggle and deepen the kiss. "Gu-" we pulled away and look at four girls who were shocked well Camila wasn't she was smiling "What is this?" Normani asked Lauren and i just smiled "Are you two...uh..." "No Ally, we're not together" i said looking at Lauren. "Yet" she said i look at her shocked she giggle and shrug "Yup, you're not my girlfriend yet" she said kissing me again i blush and kiss her back, "wait...YET?! GIRLFRIEND?!" Lauren sighed "I decided to break my walls down for her" they all awed.

"I also want her to experience love soon" she said looking at me i smile shyly and she kisses my cheek "Will you go on a date with me?" i bit my lip and chuckle "Sure...this will be my first date then" she hugged me tight. "I have a date with her" she said happily "Lauren really? how about Destiny?" Dinah asked i then look at Lauren "Well we fought yesterday" she then started telling us what they talked about which was me. "So yeah i'm in love with Y/N" she said wrapping her arms around my waist, suddenly we all saw Destiny walking passed us but she locked eyes with me and Lauren. I gulped and Lauren just kissed me in front of her, "she's a bitch" she mumble against our lips i giggle causing her to smile in our kiss.
