Chapter 35

Your POV

It's been 2 months now, and today Lauren didn't come to school I wonder why. So now I'm in front of her house, she hasn't texted me nor reply to my text so I'm kinda worried. I knock on the door hoping Lauren would open it but the person in front of me is definitely not her. It's a dude, wow....is she cheating on me? "Is Lauren here?" I ask "yes she is" he then opened the door and I awkwardly smile at him. Suddenly I heard glass shattering, shouting and screaming. I look at the dude and he looked worried "Lauren broke another plate" he mumble I then rushed to the kitchen seeing Lauren and Mike arguing and one lady and one girl. Who are these people? Lauren then suddenly yelled "HOW DARE YOU HIDE THIS FROM ME!!" Mike looked at her "Lauren! I'm sorry okay!" Lauren wiped her tears away and was about to smash another plate but I got her arm "Shhh... baby please calm down" I cooed in her ear while I rub her knuckles. She then began sobbing, I got the plate and put it somewhere which was far away from her. "Thank you Y/N" I nodded at Mike "Can we go upstairs?" I heard Lauren mumble "Sure" I said and we walk upstairs to her room.

When we got there she continued to sob "Baby, what happened? Who are those people?" I ask while wiping her eyes she was breathing heavily so I got the water bottle from my bag and gave it to her. She drank it and finally calmed down a little "The guy....is my brother and those two girls are my mom and my sister" I look at her shocked "I- I thought she was dead?" I asked she nodded "I thought so too" I rub her back. "My dad lied to me, he said mom was dead! He said I didn't have any siblings. He said mom died from a heart attack but no! I got what he meant by heart attack my mom had a broken heart so my parents separated. I never knew until now, but what hurts is my dad lied to me about a big thing! He hid this from me! You knew how I hate people lying to me!" I pull her to my arms and she sobbed. "I'm so sorry baby" I mumble against her hair she sniffled "I trusted him, why didn't he tell me?" She cried I sighed and gave her a peck on the lips. When I was about to pull away she pulled me back "kiss me please" she begged I then kissed her again.

Suddenly I felt her calm down so I cup her cheeks and stare at her eyes, "calm down okay? Maybe your dad was just scared to tell you. What about we forget about this for a while?" She nodded "I like that, can I sleep with you for a week? I don't think I can face my dad or my family just yet" she mumble I nodded "of course babe" she smiled slightly and I kissed her again. "I love you, thank you for being here for me every time I need you" she mumble I smile "I'll always be here for you" I said "and I'll be there for you too" she said I smiled and pull her to a hug. "Come on let's sleep" i said combing her hair with my fingers, she nodded and kiss my cheek before laying her head to my chest and snuggle her face to my neck. I kissed her forehead and then we both fell asleep.

I woke up and saw Lauren awake "hey" i said softly she look up and smiled "Hi" she said "are you okay now?" she nodded "Slightly....still mad at my dad" we then heard a knock from her door, "Should i open it for you?" i ask Lauren she nodded while glaring at her door. "Stay calm babe" i said pecking her lips she sighed "I'll try" she mumble i smile and got up and open the door seeing the girl and the boy. "Oh hello? DO you guys need something?" i ask they both sighed "Can we talk to our sister?" i look over to Lauren for approval and she sighed and nodded i opened the door wider making them smile and go inside. "Hi Lauren" Lauren sat up and look at them "So i have a brother and a sister?" they both nodded "how come i've never seen you two before?" she asked "Well...this was mom's explanation..." Lauren looked at me and patted the spot in front of her so i sat there and she wrap her arms around me. "Sorry, continue" she said while burying her face to my neck "Okay well....mom said when you were like two i think? i was in mom's belly and then soon they separated and we moved to somewhere to California.  I was born there, and our like half sister is Taylor. Mom got pregnant again with another dude and yeah that was Taylor" the guy said so the girl is Taylor, alright.
