Chapter 11

Your POV

After she clipped the photos she smiled at it and looked at her photos "These photos are memories, i will never throw them away" she said looking at each one, i smile and hug her she wrap an arm around my waist. "I want you to try painting" she said grinning "No i suck!" i said laughing she smiled "Of course not, with the help of Lauren there's no problem" she said giving me a high chair and i sat on it. She placed a stand with a canvas on it and placed it in front of me, she then got the pain and the brushes she smiled and peck my cheek "what do you want to paint?" she asked sitting next to me, i look at her confused "i don't know" she rolled her eyes and chuckled she got a book and showed it to me. "Pick a picture" she said i nodded and began looking and the flower one looks pretty, "This one" i said she nodded "that's easy" i chuckled "Lauren i suck at this" she smiled and stood behind me.

"Come on, it's not gonna be that hard. It's just like drawing but with the brush" she said and she let me hold the brush and she wrapped her hand on mine, she pressed her front to my back and i felt so nervous. She then started guiding me to the canvas, we then started painting the outline of it i couldn't stop blushing i mean come on! she's holding my hand while we paint! and her body is pressed to my back and i think she was mindlessly wrapping an arm around my waist as the other one was busy in painting. We're acting like a couple but in our minds we're just friends well for me i feel like we are a couple but for her just friends, "so you just color this part..." she said letting go of my hand and i began coloring it. "That's good" she said looking at it, she was so focused on the painting and she looks so cute "alright, try this color" she said giving me the paint, i dipped my paint brush and pulled it back up. She then pointed at the spot and i painted it, "keep doing that" she said i nodded and focused on the blue flower.

2 hours later i was nearly done and i didn't even notice when she took a picture of me in her Polaroid camera, i smile at her "Really?" i ask she chuckled "Yup" she said and clipped it i smile when she walk back to me. "Okay so let's do the finishing touches" she said getting my hand again and she finished it, i smile at how beautiful the painting is! i mean it's really beautiful! with the help of Lauren of course "yes it's beautiful!" she said looking at it with a smile. "Good job!" she said hugging me i smile "well thanks to you" i said kissing her cheek she chuckled "it's team work" she said i nodded "I'm gonna let it dry and keep it here. I will never throw this, this is our work together" she said i smile and stood up, "you hungry?" she asked i nodded "Come let's find food" she said holding my hand "Okay" i said and she locked the door and we walk downstairs.

"Do you want to cook or bake something?" she asked i smile "really?" she chuckled "Yeah, i'm hungry too....wanna bake?" i shrug "Okay, what do you want to bake?" I ask "maybe, cookies, cupcakes and brownies?" I raised my eyebrows "wow that's a lot" she chuckled "we'll give some to the girls" she said I nodded and excitedly hug her. "Ohh! Can we make Oreo cupcake with Oreo buttercream?" I asked pouting she nodded "sure!" And I clapped my hands cheerfully. We then started baking the brownies first. "Taste it" she said i opened my mouth and she placed it in my mouth i moaned and nodded "So good" i said she smiled and got another piece and placed it in her mouth with the same fork she used to feed me. "Mmm... yup Camila will like this" she said licking her lips. "Okay we're done with brownies now... cookies?" i nodded and we started making cookies, "can you hand me the bowl please?" i asked she nodded and gave me the bowl.

Lauren's POV

When we were done Y/N was smiling widely when she was holding her Oreo cupcake i chuckled walk to her "You really Oreo?" she nodded and lick her cupcake making me look at her lips which were now covered by the icing. I laughed and she lick her lips "Cute" i said and kissed her forehead and got myself a brownie, "Lauren?" i stood up straight "My dad's home" i said her eyes widen as she accidentally dipped her nose to the icing. I laughed and wiped the tip of her nose with my thumb and i suck on my finger "Come on" i said, "Hi dad" i said he smiled "Hey Lauren...and Y/N?" i nodded "Yup, i invited her" i said he nodded and smiled at her. "How are you doing? is Lauren annoying you?" i rolled my eyes "No Mr Jauregui, she's really nice" she said smiling i sighed "we're going to my room" i said dragging her upstairs.

Once we entered my room Loren tackled Y/N making me smile "Hi Loren" she said kissing his head "what do you want to do?" i ask she shrug "i don't know really...what do you want to do?" she asked i shrug too "I don't know...." she got my hand and we laid down on my bed. "Let's watch something on Netflix" i nodded and just laid there, once she found a movie i pulled her down "cuddle with me" i said she nodded and went inside my arms. I sighed looking down at her, she really looks beautiful when she's focused. I saw her bite her lip making me stare at her lips...i think she noticed i was staring because she looked up at me. "Are you gonna watch?" she asked quietly my face was so near her face "y-yeah.." i said nodding she smiled softly and i stared into her eyes, shit she really has beautiful eyes without my control i started leaning forward. She also did the same, i really didn't know what i was doing...i'm not controlling my body! when our lips were about to meet her phone rang making us jump and pull away from each other.

I was actually glad i didn't kiss her right there! i don't know what i'll feel if i kissed someone again, i mean someone i care about. When Brad kissed me it disturbed me so much, but i don't know what i'll when i kissed her. I'm scared, i don't want to feel the feeling of love again... i sighed and look at her as she was sat on my bed with her phone against her ear "Yeah..." she said "okay" she then hung up. We awkwardly look at each other "Uh...i have to get home" she said quietly and she stood up, "i'll drive you?" i said she shake her head "It's alright, i can walk" she said smiling a bit. "But i don't want you to walk alone" she sighed "It's okay, i can take care of myself" she said getting her bag, i then walk to her to the door. "Are you sure?" i ask she nodded "I'll be fine, i'm a big girl now" she said she lean towards me and kissed my cheek softly "Bye Lauren" she said softly and look at me with a smile. "Bye" i said and she walked away, i placed my hand on the cheek she just kissed and i think i blushed too, i snapped out of my thoughts and entered the house.

"Wow, is she your girlfriend?" dad teased i shake my head "No dad, she's my best friend" i said he smirked "Really?" i nodded sighing "Your cheeks are red" he said i rolled my eyes and groaned "Dad! she's just a friend!" i said he chuckled. "Well she's changing you....a good one" i bit my lip and look at him confused, "well i didn't get any complains about you these previous days, who were you with?" he asked "Y/N why?" he nodded and smiled "See... she's a good influence on you!" i chuckle "She's very friendly" i said he nodded "I know, and i think something about her is making you change your bad habits" he said "Which is good" he finished. I shrug "I don't know..." i said going up the stairs "She's....different" i said and went inside my room.

- Next Day -

I drove to school late well i told my dad i'll just drive my car cause i didn't want to wake up early i mean who wants to wake up early? no one! But now i'm late.....good job Lauren! I walked to Math and saw my teacher is angry....of course. "Why were you late Jauregui?!" i shrug "I wasn't late" i lied he rolled his eyes "Lauren you were 15 minutes late" i was about to shout but i look around seeing Camila and Y/N sat together. I lock eyes with Y/N and she smiled at me making me breath out and glare at my teacher "I'm sorry" i said through gritted teeth he looked surprised even the other kids except for Y/N she was smiling. Well... i never really apologize to teachers if i'm late or something i just don't apologize and it surprised me too when i just apologized, "What?" he asked i crossed my arms "I said i'm sorry! can i sit now?" i said annoyed he just nodded looking so confused. I sighed and ignore the stares the people are giving me and just sat beside Y/N.

"Well teach" i said looking at the teacher since he was still staring at me confused but when i said that he continued teaching "Damn Lauren...did you just apologize?" Camila said i look at her "i think so..." i said sighing "First time" i rolled my eyes. "I'm glad you didn't shout at him" Y/N said kissing my cheek making me blush and nodded "yeah...okay let's start math?" she chuckled and nodded. "Oh Jauregui" Camila chuckled i playfully glare at her she smirked at me "stop that!" i whispered "stop what?" she said smirking again "no stop it!" "what?" "stop it Camz!" "no!" we then started arguing like children but we did it by whispering. "JAUREGUI! CABELLO!" we jumped and look at him "Do you want to share your conversation to the class?" i bit the inside of my cheeks and sighed "No sir" Camila said "Then be quiet" he said and went back to teaching. Y/N slip her hand on mine and i relaxed and intertwine our fingers, i look at her and she was focused on writing down notes. Camila saw me staring and she smirked again while wiggling her eyebrows. 'Fuck you' i mouthed she giggled 'love you' she mouthed back. I smile and stare at Y/N again.
