White Knights
The Black Knights retreated. Recker looked around. Few White Knights were wounded and none were dead. But the same thing couldn't be said for the Black Knights.
"Get the wounded to the castle!" Recker instructed the Knights to do. "I want these bodies off the fields before tomorrow!" He trotted toward the castle helping a wounded Knight.
A slave took the wounded knight to the infirmary. Recker trotted to where Sam and Aldiar were. Recker nodded at Sam when he walked through the door. Sam smiled and trotted down the stairs to go help the other guards clean up.
"Good job Recker! You didn't lose a single horse!" Aldiar smiled. Recker nodded. Aldiar looked at his friend. He never was this quiet. Ever. In his entire life. "What's wrong?" Aldiar tilted his head.
"The Black Knights wouldn't just attack for no reason... But I don't understand why they would attack us now." He looked at Aldiar.
"Then we shall find out why they did!" Aldiar smiled at Recker. Recker nodded. "Where would you like to start?"
Recker looked around. He shrugged. "We need information from the inside. They wouldn't just leave it laying around..." He looked at Aldiar. The two thought for a few minutes. Aldiar got an idea.
"Why don't we send spy's!" Aldiar smiled.
"That might actually work! If only we had spy's." Recker laughed.
"No I meant like send a small group of Knights like 2 or 3 trustworthy ones and dress them up like Black Knights!" Aldiar pawed at the ground one and smiled.
"Oh! But we don't have Black Knight armor." Recker looked at Aldiar.
"Oh we don't... To bad there isn't new armor just laying around outside from a battle that just happened like 20 minutes ago. On Knights we were alive like 20 minutes ago." Aldiar smirked.
"What?" Recker looked at Aldiar really confused before it actually came to him. "OH! That's not a bad idea!" He smiled at Aldiar.
The two talked about the idea seeing who they should pick and what they should have them do. There was a knock on the door.
"Come in!" Aldiar looked at the door. Beatrix opened the door and walked in holding a letter. Recker kicked Aldiar in the side lightly and smirked at him. Aldiar narrowed his eyes as Recker and then looked at Beatrix.
"This was found on one of the Black Knights." She handed the letter to Aldiar.
"Thank you!" Aldiar smiled as he took the letter. Beatrix bowed and walked out of the room softly closing the door. Aldiar stared at the door.
"DUDE!" Recker looked at Aldiar who turned and looked at Recker confused. "Why are you so awkward just talk to her!" He laughed.
"Thanks for sugar coating that." Aldiar laughed and looked at the door.
"Give me the letter I will read it. You go talk to her!" Recker took the letter from Aldiar. He started shoving him out the door with his head.
