Assassins
Apollo made it back to the Cave with Cadence. She wasn't to happy that Apollo shoved her into the hay stack but at least her knight in a white and red assassins jacket came to save her. She trotted along side him smiling.
"What are you so happy about?" Abacus laughed seeing the two walk trot into the Cave.
"Nothing." Cadence grinned and trotted over to Abacus and hugged him. Apollo laid his ears back, he still had his hood up so they couldn't see it. He hated when Cadence hugged other stallions but he tried to be chill about it. Abacus laughed and hugged Cadence back.
"I see that Apollos little rescue mission succeeded!" Abacus grinned looking at Apollo. Apollo snorted a little and swished his tail up at down.
"Yep!" Cadence smiled looking at Apollo. She knew it made him mad when she was even near other stallions so she'd do it just to mess with him most of the time.
"Surprising!" Abacus smirked looking at Apollo. He loved messing with his friend. Apollo gave Abacus a HA. HA. HA. look before pulling his hood down to his withers. Abacus laughed a little on the inside.
"You didn't come help. Surprising!" Apollo smirked back at Abacus just to mess with him. Though stuff like that never bothered Abacus. He knew better than to let little things like that annoy him like stallions younger than him do.
"I was working on some stuff, which you never do." Abacus swished his tail. Cadence rolled her eyes. Why did stallions have to be so arrogant? What novices.
"Well you-" Apollo was cut off by Cadence before he could even get his idea out. How rude.
"You both are acting like little colts." Cadence gave Apollo a sharp look.
"That is true." Apollo nodded proud of himself.
"I know yearlings more mature than both of you." Cadence snorted a little. Not very princess like but she didn't care.
"That is also true!" Apollo swished his tail and laughed a little still proud of himself. Cadence gave Apollo another sharp look. Apollo stood up straight not liking when Cadence looked at him like that. Not gonna lie it kinda scared him. "Sorry princess...."
"Would you please stop calling me that!" Cadence rolled her eyes and swished her tail hitting Abacus with it a little on accident because she was still standing by him.
"Sorry Cadence." Apollo grinned. If anyone was gonna call Apollo a colt he was gonna call them things to. He knew how much Cadence hated being thought of as higher than every other pony.
"Honestly you can be such a scoundrel some times!" Cadence shook her head. It was hard for her to stay mad at Apollo. His bright blue eyes seemed to be her one weakness in the world. But she wasn't about to let a stallion who acted like a yearling still win in an argument against her.
Apollo acted shocked. He always wondered how some pony so pretty could have such a nasty bite. He looked at Cadence who was still standing by Abacus.
"You act like that surprises you!" Abacus laughed at what Cadence said. He knew Apollo longer than she did but it annoyed him seeing them together. He always thought Apollo would do something to hurt Cadence even though Apollo meant well.
"Ouch..." Apollo looked at Abacus and laughed. Apollos ears were to the side so he looked like a cow, which with his paintedness wasn't to hard to accomplish.
Cadence rolled her eyes playfully. She had better things to do then listen to two stallions act like colts. But she did have to admit, these were her all time two favorite stallions so it wouldn't hurt to be with them even if it was a total waste of time.
"Don't you have something better to do Apollo?" Abacus laughed and swished his tail up and down once.
"Nope!" Apollo tossed his head up happily knowing Abacus was getting annoyed that he was still there when Abacus had to work.
"I thought you had to go help Leonardo set up his new shop today..." Abacus looked at Cadence then Apollo.
"THATS TODAY?!" Apollo totally forgot! "I'LL SEE Y'ALL LATER!!!!!" Apollo spun around on his hind legs and bolted out the front door of the Cave.
Leonardo was Apollos best friend. He was the best painter in all of Valhalla and also came up with the best inventions. But Apollo knew him since they were colts.
Apollo galloped down the streets weaving in and out of horses, avoiding the massive crowds and other things that would get in his way. Traveling by the rooftops would be more efficient but Apollo didn't want to waste time climbing.
Apollo slid to a stop on his hind legs fast right in front of Leonardo. The big dappled gray shire who wore a black leather belt, a red cape thingy, and a black leather band around his front leg looked at Apollo and smiled.
"I was beginning to think you forgot!" Leonardo laughed and hugged his friend.
"What?! Me?! Forgetting something?! I would never! Have some faith in me Leonardo!" Apollo laughed and hugged his friend back.
"I have total faith in you Apollo! Just you tend to forget things a lot." Leonardo laughed and opened the door to his brand new shop.
"It's because I'm just so awesome that I'm always busy and I forget about little things." Apollo trotted into his friends new shop looking around. It was completely empty. Dust covered the shelves and table tops.
"Oh so this is a little thing?" Leonardo grinned and walked into his new shop.
"I said I forget little things, I didn't forget this!" Apollo smiled looking around, he knew how long it took his friend to save up for this place.
Leonardo kicked one of the lose boards knocking it down. As the board fell it snagged onto a wire causing the one Apollo was about to trot by to fall.
The board crashed to the ground in front of Apollo. Apollo jumped up into the air and did a little mare scream startled by the falling board. Dust was thrown up into the air from the board causing Apollo to sneeze a few times.
"Sorry!" Leonardo laughed at the way Apollo screamed. Apollo snorted at Leonardo and continued to walk around. They had a whole lot of work ahead of them. It was about to be a really long night.
