Assassins

Apollo and Abacus were asleep on the ground. Apollos back leg was hanging over the cliff as he slept. Four Templar Knights went to investigate.

"They aren't dead. We should get them to Cesar." The lead Templar knight said looking at the two assassins. The three other Templar guards tied chains around Apollos and Abacus's legs. They began to drag the two assassins down the hill toward Cesar's castle.

Apollo woke up noticing he was being drug. He whinnied and thrashed around trying to free his legs from the chains. Abacus jolted away hearing Apollo whinny and tried kicking his legs apart to get the chains off.

The four Templar Knights drug the two assassins through the town by the castle walls. The horses of the town stared at Apollo and Abacus as they were drug along the cobblestone roads.

"Abacus I can't get free!" Apollo snorted as he tried to bite the chains off of his legs.

"Neither can I." Abacus tried to buck but nothing happened. The four Templar Knights drug the two through the gates. Apollo smirked and got the chain around his legs caught on the gate hinge.

The two Templar Knights who were pulling Apollo were jolted back from it. Apollo got his hooves free and jumped up.

"What now?" He smirked at the two Templar Knights. Abacus looked at Apollo, the two Knights stopped dragging him. Templar Knights charged at Apollo.

Apollo grabbed his sword and twirled it. A Templar knight galloped toward Apollo. Cesar heard the commotion and trotted outside.

"What is going on?!" Cesar shouted over all of his Knights. The tall dappled gray Arabian stomped his hoof. Abacus, still on the ground in chains, looked up at him.

All the Knights rushing at Apollo halted then and there. Apollo held onto his sword looking at Cesar.

"Don't kill my Knights!" Cesar snorted. Two Knights grabbed Apollo. "Bring them in." He trotted inside the castle. The Knights drug Abacus and Apollo inside. They shoved them into a room and held them in place.

"So what brings you two here?" Cesar took a sip of his tea and looked at them.

"Your Knights." Apollo tried to run at Cesar but the Knights shoved him back. Abacus was allowed to stand up.

"I know. Just thought I'd have common curtesy and ask." Cesar smirked. Ebony, a very dark bay mare wearing a red and black dress, walked into the room. She pulled Cesar aside.

"We found her." Ebony looked at Apollo then up at Cesar.

"Good. Bring her here." Cesar smirked and kissed Ebony. Apollo threw up in his mouth a little seeing that. Ebony trotted out of the room. Cesar walked back to Apollo and Abacus. "Where were we?" Cesar smiled and crooked smile at the two.

"I don't know I'm still scared that you kissed your sister." Abacus rolled his eyes. Cesar narrowed his eyes at Abacus.

"Leave them here." Cesar swished his tail and walked out of the room. The Knights followed and locked the door when they made it out.

"That was disturbing." Apollo looked at Abacus.

"You're telling me." Abacus laughed a little while looking around the room trying to find a way out. Apollo looked out side. He saw Cowboy galloping at the window.

Apollo stepped out of the way of the window and grabbed Abacus's jackets side in his teeth and dragged him with him. Cowboy smashed through the window and rolled when he got inside hitting the wall.

"That's one way to make an entrance..." Abacus looked at Cowboy who was upside down and covered in small pieces of glass. Cowboy got up and shook off.

"I try." Cowboy smirked.

"Good job Cowboy!" Apollo laughed.

"Thank you! At least some pony here appreciates breaking things!" Cowboy shook off one more time still feeling glass in his mane. "We should probably get going, I got a lot of attention just galloping in." Cowboy laughed. Apollo and Abacus laughed.

Cowboy jumped out of the room through the window. Abacus followed. The door flew open. Apollo spun around and saw Cesar towering over him.

"Hey Cesar!" Apollo laughed sheepishly. Cesar knocked Apollos front legs out from under him. "Don't worry! I've got this!" Apollo yelled at Abacus and Cowboy.

"No you don't." Cesar looked down at Apollo and smirked. Cowboy and Abacus looked in the window. Apollo kicked Cesar in the face and hopped up. Cesar stepped back and narrowed his eyes at Apollo.

"Oops!" Apollo smirked and cantered for the window. Cesar nipped at Apollos jacket trying to grab him. Apollo bucked at Cesar again, sending shattered glass shards at him. Cesar whinnied and reared when the glass hit him in the face.

Apollo jumped out of the window. The three galloped away from Cesar's castle.

"KNIGHTS!" Cesar neighed out with his eyes still shut tight. The three galloped to the Cave. Templar Knights galloped through the streets looking for the assassins.

"How have they not found this place yet?" Cowboy laughed as the three of them walked into the living room area.

"Because they are stupid!" Apollo laughed.

"Hey, where's Ajax?" Abacus looked around for the spotted pony but couldn't find him.

"He said he had some thing he had to go to." Cowboy shrugged and sat down on a little blue cushion with the assassins symbol on it.

"He always has something to go to." Apollo sat down on his red cushion with the assassins symbol on it. Abacus sat down on his which looked identical to Apollos except for the letter A embroidered into the corner done by Cadence.

"Ya, when ever we have to go fight Templars he's always got some where else to be! It's not fair!" Cowboy swished his tail annoyed with Ajax.

"It's fine you two." Abacus laughed. "I just wanted to know where he was."

The three sat in the room talking about what happened and any other topic that was brought up. Ajax didn't go home until late that night when the others were asleep.
